The AFL let’s deliberate, off the ball hits go (McGovern a few weeks ago, Tom Lynch about 3 times last year) and Rioli flies in for a hip and shoulder/“marking attempt” but then Paddy just stands and turns and Day gets a bit of whiplash and he’s gone for multiple weeks. Pathetic by the AFL. And pathetic by the commentators to crucify him on game day.

I love Hayes, but I would much rather Campbell in the ruck. Marshall isn’t in the best form, and Campbell can offer more in the middle, protect Max up forward and he can kick a goal or two.

Chol & Witts are pretty good pair, we need to match that in the middle to beat them.
