Out: Wilson, Schultz, Hamling
In: Nyhuis, Fyfe, Cox?

No obvious replacements for Hamling really seeing Cox is playing forward and Watson seemingly isn’t ready. Possibly bring in Carter or Sturt and force Hughes/Ryan/Duman to play taller.

Can we bring in Carter? He's Cat B so we'd have to upgrade him to the mainlist and we don't have anyone on LTI

I considered him

I reckon Kersten could be moved onto the LTI, doesn’t sound like he’ll be back anytime soon.

Out: Matera, Hamling
In: Fyfe, Darcy

Not sure where to put this but Switkowski is more of a half forward for me. Seems to set up play for us very very well but doesn’t seem to have natural goal sense. I liked what I saw but just an observation.

He is good at either. It was his 3rd AFL game and 1st game back since last year. Give him some time to settle in. He's a key piece to a functional forward line imo - but needs time to gel.

Schultz topped our pressure acts, interesting to see if he holds his spot even tho he wasn’t great offensively. He’d do himself a favour if he converted his opportunities.

I’d be happy for them to keep him in and see how he goes.

Thought Hughes was solid too.

Let’s be honest, there’s nobody banging down the door to get into the team with our injury list.

I’m predicting only Fyfe possible in plus forced changes.

For this week -
Out: Wilson, Hamling (If not up for it)
In: Fyfe, Darcy

Worth having one more look at the 4 tall forward line? Wouldn't hold it against them to say straight no to it, but McCarthy's really not a tall (even 3rd tall).
Might free Hogan up a bit as well.

Having said that, I actually love the Tabs, Hogan, McCarthy combo, they just need to get more seperation. All good on a lead, Tabs can really clunk them and Hogans a real pack crasher, McCarthys the opportunist. Sooner or later we need to make a call for 5/6 rounds and stick with it though and I'd like to see us give the 4 pronged attack 1 last shot.

The young guys at Peel are not ready (North, Valente, Crowden etc). Get on 7plus and watch the replay of the game today if you need convincing (assuming it will be there soonish if not already). Given how young the Peel midfield was I wasn't as critical as some others who watched - I think they just need time to refine some things at Peel before being considered for selection. We need Logue back so Cox can play forward at Peel - and both can bring AFL selection pressure. More importantly we need our senior players back from injury (Fyfe, Blakely, SHill etc).
