I don't see similar angst against O'Meara then. Has missed a lot of games, and not many have been match winners.

Cost a fair bit at the trade table
Both poor trades. The club basically acknowledged as much in flicking an all time great coach for his poor list management and in putting these blokes up for offers last year. It is what it is at this point as we look to rebuild the list.

And getting apperently zero interest from other clubs in response for them tells you a fair bit as well.

As you say it is what it is. It didn't work and now we focus on the future.

Jiath will likely be a few weeks now also which is a pain in the arse. Hopefully Day is good to go as no way in hell do I want to see Josh Morris.

Watched the Hawks v Sandy game at the G a couple of weeks back. Morris demonstrated why he would be up for selection with some of his quick thinking and direct lightning passes. He comfortably has the speed by hand and foot for VFL so he has a good chance of translating well to AFL.
Best of luck to Josh if he gets the nod.

4 injuries in one week is a bit rough.

My thoughts, Day replaces Jaith, Lynch for Reeves, Callow for Lewis and Worpel for Phillips. Long may get a run with McDonald as a sub perhaps if resting him is an option?

Selection now has got a bit interesting. However, with a couple of likely ins impact isn’t that bad.

Outs: reeves, Lewis, CJ, Phillips

Lynch, Day, chad likely definite ins (assuming all fit) + then probably either callow if want a tall or worpel/Finn for a mid. Wouldn’t have thought we rest anyone given the 4 changes already.
Anyway we’ll find out at 430

So you don’t actually want the club to select players who’ve shown form at Box Hill. Shit post.

Was a bit of mini Sicily about the way he played if I can be a bit generous.
