You kinda knew Robbie was gonna slot that goal just because Huddo was calling it. That campaigner has an uncanny knack of being on the spot to call such moments.
And almost ruin it by blithering on for about 20 seconds after it was clear it was a goal.

We love #10 just as much!

I agree. BUT, there's just something extra special about Robbie that tugs at the heart strings. Maybe it's the memory of his knee buckling at obscene angles on that horrible day in 2012 and how he returned from that, that has him occupying a very special place in the hearts of Port fans....

or the comeback from cancer

fu** the King brothers, fu** Walsh, fu** Bailey Smith. Butters has been the best 2018 draftee this year.

Garry Lyon did a premature redraft of the 2018 top 10 (only) on the last On The Couch and had both King brothers and Smith ahead of Rozee.

Now I love a bigboi more than just about anyone, but carrrrn.

Rozee just needs to work himself back into form. He looks reactive and like he is second guessing things a lot. Butters on the other hand is on fire.

And I don't understand why people listen to the TV commentary, when Tim Ginever and Warren Tredrea are on 5AA. Two Port legends commentating on a Port game - what more could you want?
Hearing Ginevar sound excited over Carlton plays was like a knife to the heart

That was a fantastic, gritty win in pretty trying circumstances. The way we have continued to produce despite the hub, FIFO games etc is a real credit to the club.

I thought we were absolutely gone in the last after whittling away several very gettable chances late. But to relentlessly keep pushing was very Port Adelaide.

I thought Jonas really stepped into what’s expected of a Port captain today. Was absolutely immense in the last quarter to keep us in it.

Mayes had an excellent debut for the club, and has shown he is clearly more than the SANFL standard player some were claiming pre game.

Butters has just been incredible this season. That play where he calmly took on a few deep in the backline then hit a lace out pass showed such composure for a second year player.

Dixon immense, if sometimes wayward. McEnzie, still producing consistently. Boak, DBJ excellent. Ladhams slotted in perfectly, very hard to see how he goes out of the team. Really enjoy seeing him get involved as an “extra midfielder”, and have the confidence to take the game on a bit.

If you enjoy a good laugh, I'd recommend starting here

Apart from the Nicholls comment they actually seem pretty fair. Carlton supporters have actually been pretty good in my experience.

Such an anti Port win. We defied our usual excellent track record of being unable to steal a win back despite all the following:

Blow early lead in record time.
Have the share of control but unable to put on scoreboard.
Cop injuries.
Umpires not in our pocket.
Missing sitters.
A 'too little too late' come back effort.

Everything was lining up for a textbook Hinkley.

Thank God for Robbie Gray.

Watched the replay. I was thinking how it's nice to get the rub of the green in the last five minutes.

I then realised that wasn't the case at all, but rather it was just... Fair and proper? So damaged from expecting every little thing to interpreted as a free kick Carlton.
