We’ve been beaten out of the blocks a few times already, and Port can get going quickly.

This is a tough one. I expected the backline to perform better this week. Maybe the mids put up a fight for more than a half.

But how we are going to score with this forward line?

I reckon we've been playing one tall forward too many and one key defender short so I don't mind the balance this week, would rather a bit more pressure up forward though.

Ross would pick 23 defenders this week if he could.

Game plan is starting to look more and more like Richo's when he barely had enough players to field a team.

Expect a loss but in the scheme of where we are really at that’s ok….as long as we see some glimpse of a future
Lyon and co have copped a kicking on here (I too would like to see more goals) but what is evident is that he knows our older players aren’t the future so he’s rapidly exposing any kid who shows something. That I applaud.

What I'd love to see is forward pressure up. Our forward finishing has been poor but also our ability to pressure, tackle inside 50 create turnovers and repeat entries has been down.
