Horrible spectacle live, I was never engaged or interested at any point.

And now we’ve got injury worries, which gives Ken the excuse he so desperately craves for the inevitable Showdown loss next week, and means we have to suck this shit up for another 18 months at least.

All-in-all, I’d call that a disaster.

Really loved listening to Luke Hodge discuss the tackle on Allir, really enlightning stuff from an expert in concussions

Google "Luke Hodge Chad Wingard" for more wonderful insights!

Playing for us JHF has the vibe of when the team needs him be goes alright boys time to level up and does those special things whether its a smother or much needed settler goal or a inspirational effort that leads to a goal aka jhf to rozee to goal vs melb last year or even simple things like smothering or standing up in a tackle like he did tonight.

Its what the greats do; ablett, judd, swan, fyfe etc

so so special he is in our side and so happy we get to enjoy the ride of watching him doing it time and time again for the next 12 years

Our last three games have been awful. The fact we've won two of them is encouraging, I think in the past we would have gone back into our shell. A fair bit of intensity in the last when two rotations down from three serious injuries, we were completely stuffed - Wines' goal was a huge relief (although it shoul;d have been a high free to JHF anyway).

1.8 in the first could have been a disaster (the first Q1 we've lost this year?). 10 more scoring shots and a 10-point win is cause for concern. Interestingly only +7 in the i50s.

Burgoyne and JHF are the youngest players in our side and despite that (or maybe because of that) the most clutch players we have. Pls sack Hinkley before they get Hinkleyed like Rozee and Butters have been.

Their Dads probably tell them not to listen to anything the idiot says, that's the magic.

Two strong opposite forces were acting upon the score tonight.

↗️ Game v. Bottom-10
↘️ Game at Primetime Night

Saints’ bottomtenness ultimately prevailed, despite Port’s late effort to give the win away.

Turned a 8 goal win into a scrap fest cause we can’t kick.. what was the set shot scoring tonight?

In the end it was a gutsy win with no bench..

And Ollie kicked the game winner.. heck me.. who woulda thought that

Soldo individually and Sweet individually are somehow both better than Soldo and Sweet combined when we play them together. Any coach playing two rucks in the year of our lord 2024 should be grounds for instant dismissal.
