Proud of the win, a truly gutsy effort. Despite the proliferation of dropped marks, missed tackles, sprinker goalkicking and skill errors early, we kept at it, and eventually looked like we found some belief.

Ollie lifted after 1\4 +Kicked the winning goal under pressure.
Trav B played a solid game.
Hopefully Peps has a jarred knee and nothing worse.
Burgoyne won some big moments late in the game.
Burgman becoming a really solid player.
Showdown looks really tricky. But regardless of our team fitness.Crows underperformed 2024 will all come out in the showdown

Thought Sweet was OK. Taps still don't really go to advantage and it's a scrap for every clearance. We lack the confidence of our first few games where we owned the corridor, and seemed to revert to using the wings, even though we don't play wingers anymore, and they're narrow at AO.
If Dante was in form, I’d go with him.

We got lucky with Marshall’s early injury. It allowed the rucks to be a neutral battle. On a night, when our mids were pretty average, we got by.

Sweet is another nullifier. I got frustrated by his efforts to handball out of traffic instead of booting it long , but he was ok.

Marshall is in a real funk. Really disappointing how much he has regressed since his breakout a couple years back now.

Burgoyne tracking great. Clutch play at the end was fantastic.

Sweet was really solid, putting serious pressure on Soldo with tonight's effort.

Not many other positives. Those injuries are going to hurt big time.

Well as much as it was a terrible game as far as our skill level and goal picking go it was a pretty gutsy win.
When we started losing players I fully expected us to just roll over and lose.
As everyone has already said Burgoyne and JHF clearly our best.
Ratogalea actually looked better when Alir went off.
For me the funniest thing tonight was the fact our much loved car enthusiast / full forward proved to be the difference.
Georgiadis was just ok but Marshall was disappointing.

BZT was also immense just got in the way everytime the saints wanted to go forward. Just so reliable
After a scratchy patch, his last quarter was great.

Bergman behind the ball looks so much better for us too. We need to find another wing to let him stay there.

Bit meh about Williams’ game. Nothing like his form from last year. Couple of good marks but lost out a number of contests and looked at sea with the ball coming in fast. Had Burton played like that, we’d be all over him.

Love Ralphy's take here.

Apparently Higgins should be treated lightly on the sling tackle that saw Aliir concussed because:

1. Aliir tried to kick the ball in the tackle and contributed to his own concussion; and

2. Port's Doctor was likely too conservative because he got pinged last year for not being conservative enough.

So our fault.

Flip the script and have SPP doing that to Howard and easy 6-8 weeks

WTF was that I thought dart was the popular Vic slang for a smoke lol but why say that anyway it's not 1975 with half the team full of smokers.
I mean JHF does have a bit of a 70s pack of darts rolled up in the sleeve look about him.
