Rather lucky methinks. I've always regarded targeting a player leaving the ground under duress as an ethically challenged act. Call me old-fashioned or whatever.

Anyway at least we got a break at last. Feeling a lot better about this week now.

Ins : Ibbotson and Taberner
Outs : De Boer and Suban.

I just re-watched the incident on the club's web site and it showed the lead up to the incident. Johnno had no idea that Black was injured as it looked like a standard rotation, plus the trainer was following him off the ground. He was not being helped off and didn't appear to be injured.

It was silly I agree, but certainly not a dog act on an injured player like some have been suggesting.

Johnno went the bump that's all.

Who performed worse out of Neale/Sherian/Crozier/Sutcliffe? I’d say one of these for Ballaz. A like for like would be Ballaz for Crozier, but crozier as a small forward could fill the Walters small forward role…Sherian provides run but didn’t add anything much against North (albeit being a sub). Neale and Sutcliffe have been questionable but both getting 20+ disposals and providing opportunity (despite very poor disposal efficiencies). Also Deboar’s position must be under scrutiny being subbed out last game…
Also I think it was a poor effort from Crowley, who didn't lay a tackle....

Surely I'm not the only one who thinks Lachie Neale has been one of our better players this season. A bit unfair for him to constantly be grouped with Sheridan/Crozier as a player who could potentially be dropped each week. He hasn't been Barlow/Fyfe/Mundy esque but he's sure as hell doing way more than players like Suban, De Boer etc.

I agree.

I like him when he is crumbling In the pocket too but he never seems to get left there for any extended periods

Individually all of these players were good. Crozier deserves another couple of runs, even though he is most likely to make way for Ballantyne. Neale has been quite solid and could do with some extra support, Sutcliffe improved this week and showed a bit of resilience. Sheridan is probably the weakest but we need his extra run; I'd give Sheridan a spot over Suban and De Boer any day of the week at the moment but probably not going to happen.

Johnson and Dawson free to play is great news... although I was beginning to excited at the prospect of having Silvagni in the side!

Think something may be up with that Ibbo illness.. he might get another week in the WAFL.

Knock knock.

Just wondering how likely Mayne is to play this weekend? Herald Sun reported a shoulder injury but that might have been nothing.

DeBoer & Suban must be on their last legs (form wise) before they're dropped for a few weeks. I think they'll stay in this week unless RTB brings Sylvia straight in this week, which would be surprising. Perhaps that experience & class is what we need up forward?

Shoulder injury ! He has an injury between the ears :)

He has had some ankle issues but I think he is just off his game at the moment. Should play

Ross on 6pr:
-We didnt use the ball well
-Won most of the key stats
-North didn't "out compete" us
-Ryan kept Boomer quiet in the last
-Mention Mora building, Tabs and Grey good from WAFL.
-Ballas available
-Mayne is getting better and will be better
-Thought that Mora attacked the ball on the report doesnt think much in it.
-Thought Spurr kept Thomas well and isnt in too bad form.
-Every time they pick a team they are sending a message
-Will more than likely be changes this week

Thanks Seppo good stuff.
Good to hear he mentioned Grey. I really like this kid. Looks an elite athlete as he obviously is from his junior soccer background.
Just seems to understand the game and how to play it.
and I just can't wait to read Morra's name on the team sheet. Its sooner rather than later now.

Bloody hell they may get Hurn and LeCras back for this game ! Two players that always play well against us.

Surely LeCras arm could not have healed in 3 weeks could it ?
You make me laugh Simmo. Yesterday it was all doom and gloom because MJ and Dawson were likely to be out, MRP goes our way and now it's all doom and gloom because LeCras and Hurn possibly back.

Hurn might play but Le Cras is really unlikely I'd say
