Either De Boer or Suban was going to go, would have thought De Boer would survive as he has more credits in the bank.

Happy that a message has been sent.

What do you think the resting ruck does when he is not in the ruck?

When you are a forward ONLY you are not ruck man and you do not go in to the ruck you stay in the forward line for the whole game and not simply just rest there for 5-10 min a quarter. If your feeble mind still can't comprehend what I am saying then dont bother replying. Cheers.

I would expect Hannath, Silvagni and Sheridan/Suban to come out of the 25 with one of the latter as emergency.
Pleased with this weeks selection although I don't really understand the point of naming Hannath. Surely he's not going to play.

It's possible one of our ruckman has shown flu symptoms but otherwise I think it's just a message to Zac Clarke to pull his finger out.

Far out Hannath at ff is a joke . Hopefully the big guy proves me wrong but FFs we are screwed . Hawks and the cats have already blooded younger players. We should win this weekend but if we don't win the flag, my god we will bottom out.

We won't be melbourne bad but serious, I'm very fecking nervous

I am surprised that Ibbotson is not in the team. The guy is an athlete so it could be a case of getting him completely AFL match fit - For me, he is clearly starting 18. Great to see Micky Barlow up and about and Silvagni get acknowledged for a good start to the year. Hopefully he makes bouncedown. I had De Boer as an omission for this week but he is a competitor and he'll fight his way back in. Good side.
Ibbo must definitely by a fitness/injury thing. Maybe they dont want to risk his shoulder and it starts swelling or something.

Johnson. Crowley et all. I don't think Mundy will leave and fyfe for that matter. Barlow And Walters, we are so thin at the moment.
I'm not saying we should cut the wood and rebuild but Duffield, spurr who has dropped off big time, Dutch. We are too old with no kids coming through other than Neale.

Ross does talked Hannath up a touch when he gets the chance, clearly likes what he's doing. I doubt he'll play too, but it's a little sound out to him and, I suspect, a bit of a warning to Clarke to start putting himself in the right places.

Actually I would have thought that Hannath has been far more useful all over the ground over the last few weeks at WAFL level, as compared to Clark's output at AFL level.

Myself I think that Hannath has demonstrated that he is at his most damaging around the centre / HF line, running towards goals, as opposed to being a stay at home forward trying to provide leads into space with the goals behind him. He is a seriously underrated field kick IMO and in this respect I think he has the edge on Clark right now.

Half arsed effort at sending a message IMO.
De Boer and Suban do NOTHING every week. Both needed to go.

Hopefully Sylvia and Morabito come into the frame sooner rather than so we can put Suban and De Boer in the wafl where they currently belong. (At least for the next month or so)

Not sure about all that, except to say that Clarke should be better in most areas than Hannath, but really hasn't been since coming back. He had the one good game, and has faded in the next couple. I don't think Clarke will lose his spot, but he's clearly not playing up to the form we need from him, and if he did play to form, Hannath wouldn't get a look-in at this stage of things.
