Teams are now counter our zone/press and ball movement. We basically play an uncontested style of footy using extra numbers.

If we can’t slow down opposition’s ball movement. Our backs can be suspect.

We didn’t have a plan B

We are half working the zone. It's got holes everywhere now. Early in the year there wasn't anywhere to kick the ball ahead of the opposition player. Crows did that to us in the opening quarter. We were leaving holes all over and they had heaps of marks out in clear space. That's purely a workmate drop off.

We simply didn’t come to play today. Pressure rating of 160 (to their 190) 20 minutes into the first quarter tells you everything you need to know.

Once we woke up in the 2nd quarter we got right on top of them. Their scoring efficiency forward is extraordinary though. And 10-2 is amazingly accurate.

The midfield mix isn’t quite right. You don’t need Crouch and Ross both in there. It’s too workmanlike. Owens needs to start getting rolled into that midfield rotation. We’re wasting him a bit.

Yeah Owens and Sinclair need to spend more time in the midfield, we look better with them there, maybe play Steele forward more, Clark to half back.

We need to change things up as what we're doing so far isn't working, we need to tighten up our defence too, we are as loose as we have been all year.

Our forward line started to look better in that last quarter and they are getting enough opportunities, just need to convert them into goals.

Crows had 7 inside fifties for 4 straight. We had 15 for 4 4. That's the tale of the tape.

We are doing a lot right and have the game back on our terms....just cannot capitalise.

Crows have been red hot and hardly put a foot wrong hard to do it for a whole game....last goal didn't help.

Anyway still in with a chance but things have to turn our way.
