We have been s**t for weeks. It is the way we lose that is concerning.

Too many dumb players. We fluked a few wins before everybody figured out the game plan.

This is the real Saints, seen this soft underbelly for over a decade. Not getting fooled by a 6 week anomaly.

Well I enjoyed the 6 weeks beating Essendon Carlton footscray - you can give up after one down game against a good team if you want

Two goal turnaround.
Poor skills due to a couple of things.
Trying to create play (Wood), effort in the heat.
Allowed Adelaide to slice and dice.
We have a couple out on their feet due to effort: Owens and Byrnes to name two.
And we need a key back not named Howard.

Really only one bad win, unfortunately it was last week and we have maintained our form.

Yep it looks like we're basically playing at the same level as last week, just against much better opposition.

I really think our massive pre season gave us an edge for a month along with a new game style which took a little while for opposition coaches to figure out.

Benefit of hindsight looks like Steele came back from a serious injury too early.

Maybe starting to see our true position - we've been shown up with the ball movement by a couple of the better teams (Adel and Port, Coll as well), our attacking play just doesn't stand up. And King isn't going to fix that.

Our forward line is too small to stretch any defence.
Walker, Thilthorpe and Fogarty is a great set up with Rachelle and Rankine crumbing.

Our midfield still needs plenty of work but forward line is a major concern.

Really felt that last week.
"Not being played like a Saints game", and "Unsaintslike" only really holds water until it turns out this is how we play.
A few years ago, Bruce or someone said "We like it scrappy". Turned out scrappy was just our level, not our style.

Hopefully Windy, Bytel etc can show something. They deserve a run at it now.
