In 12 matches with the Roys, TheGoatBaron has kicked 23 goals in Season 37, including 4 goals in Round 8, and hauls of 6 & 5 in his last two matches.

This return is jarringly at odds with previous seasons in the past when playing with the Bombers, the Dragons & the Furies, where over 56 games there was only one instance of scoring multiple goals - a 3-goal scoresheet way back in his second Sweet FA game.

Sorry I missed most of the last round folks. I do that from time to time. I'm flaky AF me. Anyway enough about me (said noone ever). On to the game! TheGoatBaron carried on his great form with another 5 goals. SpecialBruce and Pure Grunt snagged 20 disposals each and somehow royboy2 only managed a single free kick for this week. windyhill laid 4 tackles and his hardest working game yet and Chezzalenko Reborn lived up to his legend, taking 7 marks.

Always a Roys premiership player in my heart.
I hope I haven't cursed us again, I have a bad habit of doing that to my teams (did that to Carlton last year, Leeds This season, and I am staying nothing about my Celtics )

Also has anyone here kept in touch with TedDougChris ? Miss him terribly. Hope he is happy and doing well in his post BF-SFA life.

You do keep your previous record. In fact, you have to! What you can't "legally" do in the Sweet FA, is start again under a new name as though you're a different player. THAT'S what gets you into trouble!

... but now I'm back and can show the fixture as it affects us in the next few days.

Our next game is v the Swampies, but the league had to squeeze in two Swampies matches to make the fixture work. So they are playing both tomorrow, and next week (v us).

Hence the match thread can't come out until after their match is over, else they'd have two match threads underway at the same time, which would simply be a bad idea.
