God help us if Davies has any say on Ken's tenure next seasonDavies today was asked if Ken's taking an extended break or as normal:
"He's not the type of person who needs massive amounts of time to recharge normally. So I don't expect Ken to not be here for the first part of preseason. I mean, there's number of our people who have got trips overseas, different professional development type work, but right now, I expect Ken back late November."
If Davies has, in fact, accepted the Collingwood job, I don't think that he has a say anymore.God help us if Davies has any say on Ken's tenure next season
What absolute crap!
Is Chewy changing his odds at all after that?
I didn't think he would. It is just another reason that Davies needs to go along with Hinkley. Why would he suddenly change?
"When the time comes that Ken wants to give the game away, then I think we've got some very good candidates internally to take over that position, " Davies said.
Yes whenever Kenny boy feels he's ready, as it's all bout him remember.
This whole admin has to part too, its all ludicrous

Caro reporting he's taking a longer than usual break in the off-season.
No indication to self-improve, unskill or study I assume, just to rake in more cash to do nothing under the guise he's burnt out.

Unfortunately we hear something positive on BF and we all start feeding off each other.
I wont allow myself to be dropped off a cliff.
Until the club actually say Ken and the club are parting ways, he's staying.
So for now Ken will be here next year, if he's not that will be a massive bonus.
This 100%Proof that Davies needs to go - along with all the other losers who share his opinion. If you don't win the flag, you've failed!!!!!!!!
If you think through how things will probably play out next year, common sense says Ken is best off leaving but the club have to tell him his services as coach are not required next season and I just can't see them doing it.Reality says that what you say here is pretty much on the money.
Whoever wants Ken out needs convince the right people I’d say.
Ken won’t leave, he loves the cash.
Port are just an ATM for Hinkley.Reality says that what you say here is pretty much on the money.

But we did achieve something - the heaviest qualifying final defeat by a home team. Surely that's worthy of a mention. The way they talk, it's like they view each season in isolation. You could half understand the 'we achieved something this year' line if we'd come from finishing say 9th-13th the last couple of years and ended up bowing out in a prelim this year. You might say that about our 2020 season for instance. But when you've gone 1st, 2nd, 11th and 3rd in the minor round with multiple home prelim defeats and a straight sets exit to your name, progression to a grand final and preferably a premiership would be 'achieving something'.
You have to view the results in the context of whether the team is improving, whether they're breaking new ground and progressing towards a premiership or whether they're just treading water. We already knew we could finish above the also rans. Prove you can do better than that.
Sounds like code for: he is getting sacked but the narrative will be that he has decided to move on"When the time comes that Ken wants to give the game away, then I think we've got some very good candidates internally to take over that position, " Davies said.

Just another bald campaignerMy goodness this guy is a ****ing moron! It is beyond me why the club pays him to spout utter crap out of his mouth.

She has definitely attended at least one B&F because I remember seeing a photo of her and Ken on the night.Wait...has his wife never been at the club? Not even the b&f etc..?
If so that's fuking ridiculous.
