Most fans don't need hope in premiership terms. Most fans are casual fans who just enjoy a day/night out at the footy and the hope is to win that game. And if we don't, the club has sufficiently conditioned them into believing that we are a minnow who could never truly expect to actually compete for a premiership and that in actual fact we do an outstanding job to avoid being on the bottom of the ladder given everything that is stacked against us.

This is harsh. If there’s one thing Hinkley is skilled at, it’s attracting players and getting a playing group to play for him. This has been to everyone’s detriment due to his lack of tactical acumen, his inability to identify the right player for the right role and poor mental preparation.
