We don't believe third hand whispers around here, Chewys let everyone down to many times.Heard a third hand whisper he'll announce it as his last prior to the season starting. I'll believe it when I see it
If hinkley does that it'll be like winning the preseason cup trophy, when he actually leaves it'll be like winning the grand final.Heard a third hand whisper he'll announce it as his last prior to the season starting. I'll believe it when I see it
Shouldn't be his choice to make - a club interested in winning would have sacked him years ago.Heard a third hand whisper he'll announce it as his last prior to the season starting. I'll believe it when I see it
FTFYThe fact that our CEO believes that we have numerous players on our list that only play for Kenny™ and will request trades when Hinkley finally leaves is quite damning of the culture at the club. Players aren't committed to the club and club management knows this yet fails to address it. The cult of Kenny™ is the major influence at the PAFC and this is something senior management and our board have allowed and in many ways fostered.
We won't be successful as measured by "we exist to win premierships" until Hinkley and his enablers are all gone from our club. Even then it may take years for the stench to disappear.
An article by the club's official propagandist;
Rucci: We exist to win premierships
Michelangelo Rucci explores the meaning of the Port Adelaide motto 'we exist to win premierships' and ranks his top five premiership successes at Alberton.www.portadelaidefc.com.au
"Williams, who as a playing and non-playing coach established an unbroken run of 13 grand finals (1953-1958 as captain-coach and 1962-1968) with nine premierships, including five-in-a-row from 1954), started the creed with:
"We the players and management of the Port Adelaide Football Club accept the heritage which players and administrators have passed down to us; in so doing, we do not intend to rest in idleness, but shall strive with all our power to further this club’s unexcelled achievements.
"To do this we believe there is great merit and noble achievements in winning a premiership ..."
Port Adelaideexistsonce existed to win premierships ..."
You mean the twice All-Australian player and regular top 10 in the club B&F and the bloke who could win a game after the siren against the odds who wasn't committed to the cause. Wonder how good he'll be if he is committed or has a decent coach
And we are always pretenders and never comtenders. But all is well. ****ing losers.Most of our board know little about football so it doesn't surprise me at all. They take a very superficial look at things. They wouldn't know how mentally fragile our team is as a collective. They wouldn't realise that Kens game plan is a major issue. They wouldn't know the difference between a team that is primed to win a flag & a team that are just pretenders.
So we will have a season long do it for daddy run to the flagHeard a third hand whisper he'll announce it as his last prior to the season starting. I'll believe it when I see it
I could almost live with that if it means we win a premiership. But I just can't see it happening.So we will have a season long do it for daddy run to the flag
