I’m well aware it’s a relative drop in the bucket against overall revenue, but the club’s decision to put Ken Hinkley on a golden pedestal has probably cost them at least $20,000 from me and my family since the 2021 Prelim.

For what its worth a Font maybe corrupted and the operating system may need to be re-installed. I'm a (pretty shit) programmer and what I could come up with in 2 minutes so not entirely reliable.

I have PM'ed Scodges about this, it's a Tapatalk/latest iPhone operating system issue.

He can't fix it, it's up to Tapatalk to fix the bug. They have been advised.

Delete history, cache and cookies

• Go to Settings > Apps > Safari.
• Tap Clear History and Website Data

Now if it’s greyed out then there is something you have to do first…

It’s an arse about but see if you can do that first.

I’m using BigFooty app, so not going through safari at all. As Ford has said, it cannot be fixed my end. I just need to avoid typing numbers, or posts containing numbers.

The website is really good on mobile, I'd switch.

I didn't even know bigfooty had an app. I used Tapatalk like 10 years ago when that was faster but the website has been fine for like a decade.

I'm 95% sure it's an issue with the app you're using Scodges. When you click "quote" on the website, the code it generates around the quoted text looks like this:

Yours seems to break the html code bigfooty is using to display quoted messages. The quote function on the app you're using, i'm guessing, is potentially from an older version of the forum or maybe even an app exclusive thing that Bigfooty nolonger supports.

Use the website via safari or whatever your browser is, it works really well.

His son Jordan has been employed for 8.5 years at Port and still is employed at the club

so.. prior to Covid there were 4 Hinkleys and a son in law employed at the club. Nepotism at its finest

Nothing I’ve said will do anything to give his phone trouble. I live on a Mac all day and just trying to help, sometimes it’s the dumb shit that works. Seeing as he’s the only one with this issue I’ve seen it’s likely to be local to him I would think.

This issue was elevated to the site Administrators a week or so back who advised the problem has been seen with multiple users and their advice was passed on to Scodges. I (and he too I'm sure) appreciate you are trying to help but by continually bombarding him with backyard non-solutions you are just wasting his time.

And yes I shouldn't get wound up (and it was hardly that but whatever) but it is frustrating seeing post after post telling him to do this and do that even after he has received advice from the site Administrators (which I have posted).
