The entire club from top to bottom have nothing but disdain for supporters. Their actions have proven this time and time again.

They know how unpopular they are and they don't care. Nobody can touch them unless Koch grows a conscience. We're a simple annoyance that they'll do everything in their power to avoid having to answer to.

Fortunately history will judge them incredibly poorly. In 2050 we'll refer to this period how they refer to 2012, a nadir that we needed to be rescued from. Primus, Duncanson and Haysman will be remembered far, far more fondly than Hinkley, Koch, Richardson and KT will be.

I don't believe the succession plan will happen publicly. It's not in line with how we've seen Hinkley behave to accept that he'll be replaced. I think he'll hang on until the bitter end and then blame the club and the supporters for his failures which will be lapped up by the Victorian media.

Hope i'm wrong

We don't do anything transparently. It's not a hallmark of this 'leadership'.

Announce Sutcliffe you cowards.

Lol! I forgot about that.

I’ve nothing against the guy personally, but his career trajectory at Port is the most “whose nephew are you?” acquisition and ongoing ascendancy I’ve seen.

Probably the Davies connection from his time as WWT CEO.

I can definitely see how committing Arson is a rational response to not liking a coach of a footy team.

Agreed. A simple, traditional burning effigy in the centre square would be a far more rational response. Drape it with a banner reading "In Affectionate Remembrance of Port Adelaide Football, which died at the Adelaide Oval on 9 September 2017", pop the ashes into a fragile little urn, and hey presto, a priceless trophy between ourselves and, um, West Coast. Or something.

Isn't it wonderful reminiscing about another failed finals campaign. Essentially "hope for the best" is our strategy. Amazing to think this mindset has only yielded us three finals wins in a decade.

As we enter January we must be edging closer to the club rolling out Hinkley from hibernation after another disastrous finals campaign. Of course there will be no need for any scribes to question Kenny on past failings. That is all in the past. It is a new year so onwards and upwards.

“I don’t write those stories”, he says, as if he’s in no way responsible for the content baked into them.

We keep giving this guy money to do this job lol
