Pretty sure that most here have been pissed off that Hinkley never seems to entertain any Professional Development, but when he does it's outrage. And then outrage over a couple posters, who are hedging their bets a bit with their comments saying stuff that we already knew.

We were dogshit in 2010, and despite all their injuries the game we lost to Richmond in 2019 was to the eventual premier in the middle of a dynasty.

If we don't roll Richmond by 10 goals in round 2 heads will roll especially if it is on the back of an expected loss to the Pies at the MCG in round 1.

I’m here for it.

If chewy is correct and an annoucnment of a handover could happen in the next month all good. Even though i, like most would prefer a old fashioned blood sheding sacking of Ken.
What bothers me is chewy is saying could be a disaster coming surely that means ken is staying in some capacity wish chewy would come out and say what it is unless he is just guessing. Another thing, I want new assistants too working with Josh. Chad can go coaching somewhere else.

Port lose to Collingwood by 40-60 in the first game.

Richmond then lead at either 1/4 or 1/2 time of the following game, causing some squirming in seats and murmurs in the crowd. Port produce 10 minutes of great football to win comfortably by five goals, but it papers over cracks.

Put it in the book.

Richmond are going to be really bad this year. Have we ever lost to a bottom 4 team at Adelaide Oval?

I think the only bottom 6(?) team we’ve ever lost to at AO is the Crows in one of those unloseable Showdowns.

It’ll happen one day.

You’re 100% right in that we’ve slammed him for not doing it in the past, and now we’re bemoaning the fact that he is. He can’t win in that regard.

But IMO, finally deciding to take a fact-finding mission overseas in the lead up to season 13, having mainly refused to do it in the past, is a completely futile enterprise given the guy will never change, and many believe he’s half way out the door already anyway. Shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.

Additionally, if he was truly interested in exploring alternative avenues for the extra secret sauce to take Port from good to great, he could look much closer to home by being open-minded to the coaching insights of a perennial winner like Darren Cahill, or allowing his wayward kicking forwards to work on their craft with Warren Tredrea as has been requested, rather than scuttling it because of a petty grudge.

The guy’s insecurity, paranoia and small-mindedness is not only a handbrake to Port achieving true success, it somehow gets signed off on and endorsed by his employer. Staggering stuff.
