Don Pyke has had more success with the Crows than Ken Hinkley has had at Port. Yet Don walked away. Hinkley should have some integrity and do the same. I can understand why he doesn't though, which is why I'm absolutely filthy that our board lets this rot continue. When our board consists of the likes of Amanda Vanstone who calls our losses 'spunky', than it's no wonder that our club is happy with mediocrity and will continue being a mediocre team into the foreseeable future.

Why?

If Choco was to get the Crows job, which I doubt, we would never win another Showdown again.

My wish would be to Sack Hinkley, Voss & Bassett. Monty as head coach with Schoey as his assistant, employ Choco to over see in the box and as player development.

We would have to save at least 1.3 million and we might get our club back and resemble the real Port Aelaide footy club.

My theory is that Koch and the board have promised Ken the 10 year coaching thing, we just don't know it yet. We may get a new coach for the 2023 season if that's the case.

If Ken thought he was out the door at the end of next season he wouldn't be hear, he would have gone back to Vic and maybe tried for the Carlton or Saints job, minimum 3 years security back home where Donna apparently would rather be.

Well if this continues for another year or two, there wont be much of a club left, members declining along with attendances, even Oak has jumped off and we will find it hard to attract and major sponser when the whole club stinks.
