Opinion Sack Hinkley 3 - 2021 is worse than 2020 already

In this morning's press Matt Turner writes,

But Hinkley, who needs to make the finals to trigger an extension for 2021, says the club always comes first.

I have heard this performance based clause mentioned in other sections of the media but as I have never seen Hinkley's contract and cannot recall Koch or anyone in authority at the PAFC mentioning it I still wonder if it is a fact.

Does someone have an official PAFC source for this please?

It is also interesting that Hinkley is not worried about the fact that Port have missed the finals for the past two years. He obviously believes in the power of forward thinking and does not want to dwell on the past. I can understand that to an extent but from my experience we have always been, proud of the past as well as being confident of the future.

The club always comes first............ I only spat the dummy and threatened to walk out with a year to go on my contract because I was soooooo concerned about the PAFC.

we won what 11 games this year and i think we will win 2 more in 2020.

Pity he is tactically inept, grossly intransigent, fails to realise his game plan sucks dog's b***s, and refuses to seek learning opportunitires and develop meaningful engagement with his players until expressely ordered to do so.

In the Sack Hinkley part 2 fread, Us Against the Rest contributations was 500% grater than the next poster. In this one, he's not even the top contributator. His trajectory is worse than Kens. At least Ken is consistent. I'll be enjoying me Crismas lunch down the club.

Declaring that someone who is clearly not meeting expectations is at the top of their game as a statement of support is actually quite bizarre.
