I'm not that worried. Even the mediocrity endorsing losers running our club will sack him if we don't make the 8, and I don't think we will.

If he's here in October, I expect a transformational level of supporter backlash that will see not only Hinkley go, but Koch and Richardson as well. Organised protests as well as mass organised non-attendance or late attendance of games (everyone goes in at quarter time) etc. It'll be a wonderful time to be a Port supporter and we'll look back on it fondly.

Extend Hinkley. Announce the extension, have a press conference with him smiling and joking, etc.

Then say 'lol, just joking' and sack him the next day in the knowledge that there's a maximum 6 month payout no matter how long the contract.

Maybe Ken has to sack Ken?
Ok bear with me here...

What if we've been going about this all wrong?

What if instead of trying to sack him we just each week slip him a pair of shoes, identical to his current shoes, but each time with a heel 10 mm higher than the week before. Over time he would gradually become 190cm, then 195cm, and eventually 200cm.

At some point he will suddenly realise he is tall, and send himself to the SANFL to work on some things after apologising to himself.

The problem solves itself.

It's so easy to sack under performing players but not under performing coaches.
Wingard, Howard & Ladhams.
Wasn't it Wingard with the pressure kick in the showdown to make Ken look good?

Wasn't Howard that kicked the ball forward that Motlop ran on to to ice another Showdown to make Ken look good.
Yeah you Hinkley dual coach of the year riding on the coat tails of players you don't think should be playing at Port Adelaide. You are dead lucky it's not that easy to remove you for your under performing and the terrible game style you make the poor players play. There is no team that works harder than Port Adelaide and your shit game style is killing list after list.

Doing the predictor, as long as Collingwood keep winning we are done, they seem to be imo the vulnerable team currently in the top 8, especially now that Darcy Moore may be out for a while.

Imagine Ken going in to an election talking up the quality of Pauline Hanson and Clive Palmer and how strong they are as candidates.

If Hinkley went into politics I wouldn't be surprised if he was in either One Nation or United Australia Party.
