I like Kane in the media because he stirs up the nuffies but he contradicts himself a bit too much.

He went from saying the decision needs to wait until the seasons finished to bagging Kochie about focusing on the prison bars and not making a decision about the coach.

He’s trying to hedge his bets because he doesn’t know anything, which is a good sign I think.

“They started 0-5”

“There’s 6 or 7 players that would be really upset if Ken left”

LOL **** Kornes

On the bright side, Kornes looked uncomfortable and he didn’t go into bat for Donuts nearly as strong as he has in the past. He stopped short of saying “yes” to wanting Hinkley to coach Port in 2023.

I think we are close.

Kane couldn’t answer with any conviction.
I see it the other way. First time I’ve seen him lost for words. He knows what’s going to happen, he just can’t bring himself to say it.

Not sure what makes Kane think if it’s a choice between Hinkley and Kingsley it’s Hinkley every day of the week.

I think he is concerned about Clarko though. He’s concerned because it will mean Chad is sent packing.

Kane must be cringing after that.

0-5. Assumes it should be removed off the ledger. Piss off.
Healthy %- we're out of the 8th at 10th place on %, pretty much line ball with Saints and Suns (and we were in the prelim last year).
No ruck. Coaches elected not to play.
6-7 sad players who love him (no longer 10 hey). This stat actually supports his sacking.

Kane, you wouldn't sack ken for Kingsley,if Collingwood thought that way Buckley would still be coach and they wouldn't be sitting 3rd

Can’t wait to purchase our version of “the winning streak” dvd for rounds 6-9, such reverence is given for the “righting of the ship” after the 0-5 start. The way Ken’s fluffers reference the failure of the 0-5 start as a positive point in his defence is utterly bizarre and sickening. Who could forget such famous wins against a Covid ravaged Subiaco reserves, a st kilda that was as accurate as Janus’ predictions, a bontless bulldogs too preoccupied laughing and reminiscing about the enema they gave us in the prelim and the most meritorious victory of all, stepping over the festering corpse of norf. Absolutely seething with pride I tells ya

And some numerology for Moon Dawg, we finished the streak from rounds 6-9, by beating norf by 69 points 🤯

Kane wouldn't know if 6 or 7 players would be upset because he's friendless among the current playing group. They do not talk to him. So, he's either pulled that figure out if his arse, or Ken Hinkley has been telling him to say that.
Well considering the figure was 10 just a few weeks ago and now it's '6 or 7', he's either pulled it out of his arse or Hinkley is rapidly losing support amongst the playing group.

All that Kane needed to say is that Port is the only club out of last years finalists that has had to play 8 of the current top 9 teams away from home - Geelong, Melbourne, Collingwood, Brisbane, Fremantle, Carlton, St Kilda, Richmond. And that seven of those games were decided by less than 14 points.
