What sort of tunes do ya reckon Nicksy likes? bit of a Slade flog?I want us to lose next week so Nicks will be under more pressure, but I will only be happy if we win so that Hinkley will be sacked

Weve had so many opportunities to look for a coach when there wasnt a logjam, and yet again we are going to **** it up. Costing us another ****ing 3-5 years minimum. So Bulldogs, West Coast, and Adelaide are likely to be in the market for a new coach. I guess we'll be last in line.
Go take a walk through any SA public service building. It's full of Ken Hinkley's. The type of person who has become very comfortable with tenure, and routinely kicks every can down the road because they're not really expected to actually do anything from the people above them. Ken Hinkley is taking the piss at this point. What baffles me is how blatantly evident it is as to how soft Hinkley has become. This isn't something that has happened just over this off season, but rather this has been a trend for the better part of 5 years.
We can't afford anything else. I hope it's not Carr.Weve had so many opportunities to look for a coach when there wasnt a logjam, and yet again we are going to * it up. Costing us another ******* 3-5 years minimum.
Its gonna be Josh Carr and it'll be sold as the best candidate.
I hope who ever our new coach is he will be an `unapologetic head kicker ' type, but have concerns he would be ultimately detuned to suit kokhead's humble little old blue collar club from Alberton narrative, ala what ever happened to the original kern, who regardless of his technical shortcomings at least showed some emotion in his early days at Alberton. What baffles me is how blatantly evident it is as to how soft Hinkley has become. This isn't something that has happened just over this off season, but rather this has been a trend for the better part of 5 years.
Look at the best coaches in the league of the last 20 years. Sheedy - psychopath. Matthews - psychopath. Clarkson - psychopath. The best coaches are the ones who literally put the team ahead of literally everything else in their life, are demanding of the players to do the same and are completely unapologetic in their approach regardless of who may get out offside.
It's not just AFL either - can pretty much apply it to every professional sport. Yet Hinkley's approach has been one that you would expect at an amateur country team. "Don't worry about the score lads just have a good time and we'll have a few bets on the doggies post match."
There will be a next head coach. Hinkley is on borrowed time, and the next man up for the job has to be an unapologetic head kicker. There is so much young talent on this team such that any coach who is content with just being there for the ride will permeate that mentality to these players and it will be a potential golden generation of talent wasted as us fans merely ponder "what if?"

I suspect he likes crap like Coldplay, Mumford and Sons and Muse - soulless fruity shite
He was at the Ed Sheeran concert. Says enough.I suspect he likes crap like Coldplay, Mumford and Sons and Muse - soulless fruity shite
We couldn't afford themThere was a time when Clarkson & Ross Lyon were both on the market and wanting to coach again......David Koch knew this and decided to keep Hinkley for this season.......you couldn't make it up.
Maybe they should do the ol ‘trust fall’ into each others arms during training sessions, maybe before matches too“Wouldn’t change a thing”
— Ken Hinkley
“It was still a successful year in terms of win/loss”
— Ollie Wines
“It was good to get a reality check on mindset and where we need to be”

“[supporter criticism of Ken Hinkley] is stupid”
