Just to be clear, I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, just presenting my point of view.

You do what you gotta do. I'm always going to be disappointed to see the club lose financial support but they have to wear the consequences of their decisions.

If we want to be like those clubs then yeah we could afford it.

If we want to be better than those clubs, and all the others, then building a strong foundation, to replace the shaky one we started with, needs to be done first. In this context the stability ethos makes sense.

I don’t agree with it, but I’m not privy to the whole picture.
So how much debt have we paid off since Koch got here?

In the end, we're getting what we're aiming for. Never a bad team but never really in contention. Not bleeding money and fighting for survival but not financially thriving either. Just middle of the road, stable, boring. It's by design.

I have no expectation of ruthlessness, I thought I explained that at the outset.

And this little brother thing is fast dissipating. The marketplace has evened up as young people choose between two clubs. The old sanfl rivalries are dying.

The club is working to financial independence and it is not all predicated on on-field success. A few years ago we had no million dollar sponsors, now we have three.

Anyway, as I said this was my pov, people will do what they choose to do, as will I.
I understand all you have said but that is still no reason not to change an 11 year coach with no real success. Also I don't understand why the club has chosen to right off long time real supporters and treat us with disrespect.

Koch or Hinkley never seem to address the fans, it all looks to be be about their own egos.

Hey at the end of the day as supporters we are asking the question after 11 years but as I posted previously it's square peg round hole situation.

Why are we any different to any other club or franchise that want's a change of coach, why are we not allowed to ask the question and then get called disrespectful names for asking. But be respectful to the club and Ken.

Exactly what the AFL wanted in 2012. The protection racquet media are doing a good job at keeping that as the goal.

..... and f**kheads like you won't risk wearing out your last two brain cells since the only thing you'll be rambling for the next couple of years is "sAcK hInkLeY"

What is it about him you relate to and like so much?

Daddy issues?

Not bleeding money ? Hasn’t our dept all but doubled since Koch took over as President ?

We are where the crows were with the disconnect to their fans in 2017-2020. They recognised that as a massive failure, got rid of everyone and turned it around

We are where the Crows were with Neil Craig.

Except they had the balls to sack him

So, in theory, 60,000 members could contribute $100 each and buy back the Club? I assume it's not that simple, especially now we may have to factor in a 2 year payout for Ted Lasso.
I'd put in $10,000 if it was on the condition that Hinkley goes immediately.

At the end of the day, nothing else will change direction the club is going.

Unless some of you guys know a few multi millionaires and can fund raise enough money to wipe the clubs debt, conditional on the entire board being replaced and Hinkley going.

the stauncher you are in your support of Ken, the bigger Port fan you are, right? that seems to be the mentality I encounter at work far too often, they think they're a bad Port fan if they have an opinion that isn't sunshine and daisies

1 year, and a succession plan I could've sucked up because I could see an ending. Straight up 2 year deal with no mention of succession plan is the single most gutless decision this club has ever made, and we've been a pissant organisation for a while now. Utter garbage, and Koch's rep will never be salvageable IMO. Just **** off.

You'd need Koch to go immediately also as there is no guarantee he wouldn't just immediately have him signed again.
