The club got back to me re my cancellation request late this afternoon. Tom Walsh was his name. Very nice chap. I do feel for all the shittworkers down there. It's not their fault. Anyway, he took me off auto-renewal, said he's happy to leave it at that for now to give me more time in case i change my mind, which was nice of him. I must admit, even though i've stopped attending games long ago, it does feel like a little piece of me has died inside. But alas, nothing lasts forever and it's on to the next chapter, i guess.

I was thinking the Swans myself just for the nostalgia and memories of the club song.

Ultimately I don't care enough about AFL to back in anything that isn't representative of the Port Adelaide I grew up with, so will use my money to whatever else in life brings me joy.

I assume the club is censoring comments on the facebook page. I keep reading references to "Ken Haters" and "so-called supporters", but then i scroll through the comments and it's nothing but sunshine and lollipops.
