Am I the only one that doesn’t get what “I am become donuts” means? It doesn’t make sense to me.

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, “Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” I suppose we all thought that one way or another. - Oppenheimer

Oppenheimer quoted a line from the Bhagavad Gita that IIRC is from a section of the Mahabarata only that it is written very differently to the rest of the book.

The quote itself is about the Eternal Feminine or the Goddess within which has the power to create and the power to destroy.

It talks about the destroyer of worlds, like most esoteric traditions, it is meant to be an internal destruction of the negative elements within, not an external destruction of the world and humanity itself.

I think it is a fitting quote given the destroyer of Ports.

"As he witnessed the first detonation of a nuclear weapon on July 16, 1945, a piece of Hindu scripture ran through the mind of J. Robert Oppenheimer (Lead Physicist on the Manhattan Project): “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” It is, perhaps, the most well-known line from the Bhagavad Gita, but also the most misunderstood."

Unbelievable the lack of accountability!

No other coach in sports history has been this protected

Isn't he supposed to be Hinkley's boss, or doesn't it work like that?

Either way, for the DoF to be that close to the head coach means you're never going to get meaningful change whilst either is in role.

Maybe Koch gave him the transcripts

Would’ve loved his measured and earnest performance review straight after Robbie Gray once against pulled the donuts out of the fire against lowly Carlton in neutral Queensland.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️! He’s basically Sir Alex Ferguson!”
