Judging by the engagement of 80% of those listed I'd see this is a house show for the sponsors. Meanwhile two of the all time greats probably just need to start bashing people again (plus the rest of the nWo if they can be bothered).

Holy Matrimony keep on truckin'!

Onto our first award of the evening:

Swerve of the Season

Let's run down the nominees.

U2tigers is Wilbert K. Pringle

In the middle of the season, serial_thrilla found himself the target of a series of cryptic messages, ostensibly from SPAM FL legend Wilbert K. Pringle.

When push came to shove, the sender made his true identity public: Thrilla's former best friend U2tigers!

Frothies Mcveigh brutally assaults Mrs Turbo

On the road to SweetaMania, Froth cements the Fighting Furies heel turn with a shocking attack on league favourite Mrs Turbo in front of her handcuffed loving husband. To twist the knife, the next week Froth rammed her ambulance with a semi-trailer, showing no remorse for his actions.

Loonerty returns at SweetaMania

After enjoying retirement for three seasons, Loons had enough of sitting at home and watching the weekly shows, and decided to make an unnanounced return to SFAEW at the Showcase of the Mortals. The reaction to his return overshadowed TheInjuryFactory's victory over okeydoke7 mere seconds earlier.

Hate is excommunicated from the nWo

Following weeks of tension between Hate and The Filth Wizard over the true purpose of the faction, Filthy took it upon himself to violently have Hate removed following a failed World Championship tilt.

serial_thrilla joins the nWo

As part of his grand plan to break U2tigers spirit, serial_thrilla made a shock move to the nWo in round 1, assisting Filthy in beating Bono.

And the winner is...

And for our second award of the evening:

Rookie of the Season

Our nominees are:

King Tenz

SFAEW's very own Butcher arrived in the company with violence on his mind. From wrestling in Barbed Wire matches to powerbombing brand new Hardcore Champions, he's made one hell of an impression in his rookie year.

okeydoke7

Mister...One...THOUSAND made his long awaited full debut in the company and instantly found himself working a main event program with then World Champion TheInjuryFactory. Somehow...I still think his best is yet to come. YEAH!

Gralin

The recently minted EKA winner made something of a low key debut in SFAEW, but he rose through the ranks to somehow get promoted into the Head of Security role. He's overseen some high-intensity contract signings, and still has a solid career ahead of him.

James Colorado

Despite having lost every single match he had this season, the man whose name resembles a mockbuster version of Indiana Jones foudn his way onto the ballot by virtue of his devious roles in assisting Froth and Pick with getting ahead.

Callums_Guns

Not strictly a rookie in SFAEW, CG gets onto the shortlist by was of becoming one of the league's best tag team specialists in his first full-length season in the fed.

And the winner is...

Bono's back in business! Maybe he can actually wrestle more matches next season...

For our third award of the night:

Feud of the Season

Here are the nominees:

Team Froth vs Team Cheese

A massive war between two ever expanding factions, tensions between Frothies Mcveigh and damicky boiled over big time in the first third of the season. What started as an underhanded attack on Musical Cheese exploded over the next few weeks, culminating in a 25-way brawl after a Trios Championship bout, and one of the best Magnificent Seven matches in company history.

TheInjuryFactory vs okeydoke7

Mister...One...THOUSAND's first real feud in SFAEW, and it was a heavy hitter right out of the gate. "Inj"'s looming frustration with his new nickname, coupled with a post-championship losing streak, lead to a reprisal of the early season barnburner at SweetaMania, with even more dramatic consequences.

serial_thrilla vs U2tigers, Part II

Picking up right where they left off at the end of Season 35, Thrilla and Bono resumed their hostilities amongst the ashes of a fractured friendship. nWo betrayals, cryptic Pringles, and a toolbox to the back of the head paved the way to a fateful encounter inside Hell in a Cell. And once you thought it was over...they main evented SweetaMania.

Kennedy Parker vs Elton Johns Wig

KP wanted nothing to do with Elton. He didn't want to wrestle him at the pre-season spectacular. He didn't want a "B-plus player" in any championship scene. He even set up 5 labours as hoops for Elton tp jump through. Then...he changed his mind. He helped Elton win the IC Title. He formed the Corporate Wigs, but even then...he couldn't outrun the inevitable Admin vs Admin showdown...

The nWo vs Demolition Squad

An unfortunate side effect of Sun Ra getting banned was that this little piece of Faction Warfare fell to the wayside. Anarchy in the Arena, a ladder match for the Hardcore Championship, this feud had all the bells and whistles.

Shaun Freakin' Duggan vs TheInjuryFactory

TiF's other big feud this season, and arguably the feud with the most quality matches. Between the main event of SFAEW 100 and their Iron Man rematch, TiF and Duggan burned the house down with every move.

And the winner is...

And for the fourth award of the evening:

Tag Team of the Season

The nominees are:

Holy Matrimony

Tigerturbulance and Mrs Turbo ran roughshod over the Tag Team division all year, but it was this season where they stole the limelight with their record Tag Team Championship reign.

Musical Cheese

In what turned out to be a farewell tour for the Maestros of Mascarpone, damicky and HARPSichord went largely unchallenged as they won their feud with Team Froth, and hung out with World Champion Shaun Freakin' Duggan as part of the legendary Freakin' Musical Cheese faction.

East Side Hawks

por_please_ya's criminally underrated season kicked up into gear when she enrolled the services of Callums_Guns to take down Holy Matrimony. I will admit that renaming the team back to the old nickname played a part in their nomination.

Bonz-nomenal

After years of speculation, Bonz and PhenomenalV1 finally joined forces to form the ultimate tag team! Who would've thought that this was the best thing that the Corporate Wigs storyline gave the league?

The Corporate Wigs

Speaking of which, the Wigs weren't slouches themselves. The combined autocratic powers of Kennedy Parker and Elton Johns Wig may not have won them any tag titles, but they sure were and intimidating presence to match up with.

And the winner is...
