I hope Ryan stops trying to jump over packs and put himself out for a year.Just hoping Ryan can keep playing the same way after he recovers.
He’s got a lot more tricks apart from this.
It would be a shame to see his career curtailed by injury.

Most of the rookies were after 6 month contracts. They were free hits, if they panned out we keep them, if they don't have it we let them go.If the club didn't rate the talent available then it makes sense they didn't take a second pick. They will be turning over the list and there's no point in clogging up a rookie spot which they could use to transfer senior players off the main list or recruit better talent in the end of year rookie draft.
Well he did joke about not going for speccys anymore.I hope Ryan stops trying to jump over packs and put himself out for a year.

Or we decided not to waste anyone's time. The only way you can make an impact in 6 months (more like 2 months of actually game time) is if you can plug into the team straight away. This requires you to have skill and fitness. Worked for the guys at the top of the list, but I haven't heard of any rookies from the second round getting games yet. Most of the rookies were after 6 month contracts. Foolish not to have taken a second pick.

Was he any good?Jack Buller debuted in about his second week at Sydney.

Who cares if they play this year. Having them in the system allows you to assess them and see if worth persisting with.Or we decided not to waste anyone's time. Agree. At worst they go to the Beagles who need any help they can get.Who cares if they play this year. Having them in the system allows you to assess them and see if worth persisting with.
Funnily enough, Simmo addressed this in a press conference a few weeks ago.Agree. At worst they go to the Beagles who need any help they can get.
And if they show even a bit there’s no shortage of current players to delist.
Smacked to me of not wanting to look like they’re grasping at straws. But with a percentage under 50 surely that’s time for desperate measures?
Also, weren't allowed to have any WA drafted players in the WAFL team(from memory) as they had to stay with their home side.
Guess they don't enforce it then. That’s supposedly the rule but every mid-season draftee so far has been allowed to join the Beagles (Collins, West) or Peel (Kuek, O’Reilly).
This isn't a bad thing given how the Beagles are going...Funnily enough, Simmo addressed this in a press conference a few weeks ago.
Didn't want to add someone to the list for 6 months, just to play WAFL.

At about 20mins Schofield talks about Oscars shoulder....
Schoey said it is a loose shoulder and if it gets full dislocated then it would require an operation. I think they should put him on ice now, no need to risk it for 6 more weeks. Would also pretty much guarantee we don't win any more games.
Same situation Maynard is going through. Yeah 100% send him in how to get fixed. A shoulder recon is like 4-6 months recovery?
Definitely dont want to go down the shoulder recon path at his age. I'm not sure if a reconstruction is what is required anyway- maybe some minor surgery but shoulder recons are ****ed at any age, especially one so young and should be avoided at all costs.Same situation Maynard is going through. Surgery doesn't necessarily.mean a full reco. Has it been popping out? He hasn't missed a game this year.Though if it keeps popping out it does more damage? Then sugery is required. I could be wrong.
I had a relatively minor shoulder op (rotator cuff) on i Nov 2022. Still well below strength and working to gain full mobility. Putting him on ice is ok but for what benifit?Definitely dont want to go down the shoulder recon path at his age.
