What an absurd few years for injuries we've had.

Probably the best touch and go for round one I've ever seen on our history.
Most here were amputating Jack Darlings ankle and writing it off.

Been doing some reading up on recovery times for such an injury, and it looks like Jack will be out of action for two months - at least. Not a good break for the kid, especially after having such a promising preseason. I hope he is a fast healer.
Get over it soon, Jack, and get in amongst it again.

3-12 weeks according to Dr.Google. Of course I'm assuming the 3-week option is for non-athletes.
So many factors we don't know, mainly around the size of the rupture (i.e. a 2-3mm cut/hole is very different to a 2-3cm one!) - but I'm sure we will get a timeframe once they have him settled and well. At a guess I'd say he is at training with no contact in around 4 weeks and another 4 weeks until contact resumes (i.e. your 8 week timeframe).

Except he didn’t actually say that
Said his lung was ok but there were one or two other injuries internally that were being monitored and that he was out of danger

Injury update. Latest photo of Darling to the right today but unfortunately someone's shoulder got in the way so still wasn't able to confirm swelling on Darlings ankle.
Sorry about that. Nothing to report.
