Reckon Dom’s injury is one of the nost bizarre injuries in recent times. Tho I’ve heard a dockers player once ruptured his nut and it swelled up to the size of a cricket ball and was rushed to hospital

Looking pretty good, albeit for Cox another 4 weeks away. Could really use him right now.
At least a Cox 4 weeker was 4 weeks. At most

Now we’ve sorted out the reporting side of the issue, we can look at the management side.

How was Shuey allowed to go back on with ankle/hamstring issues that will keep him out for a month? Should he have been played in the first place?

Has Yeo suffered a recurrence of the same groin issues that have plagued him for the last few years? If so, was he rushed back into the side too quickly?

How did Long and Hough suffer relatively serious hamstring injuries at training? Are we continuing to overload players during the week even though they’re breaking down left, right and centre?

How much damage did we do to Chesser by sending him back on for the entire second half of the derby? Was it a 6-8 week injury before that, or has it been exacerbated?

Has Cole suffered a recurrence of the ankle injury that kept him out all of last year? If so, was he put under too much load in the first month of the season?
What did I say on the damn pod? Shuey will do a hammy in the second.

I was wrong about the 100 pts but I’ll take that

On Sheed's throat - is it any different to the injury Daniel Chick received from Dean Solomon which supposedly* ended his career?

*Story may have been concocted in an attempt to score a free hyperbaric chamber from the Club.

I suspect it's more like what happened to Andrew Embley in 2006. I think he missed a couple of weeks (including finals wk1) and his voice was still stuffed when he did his speech for the Norm Smith.

Some might even describe it as "unfathomable".

He re-signed for 3 years last year. Pretty normal for a bloke of his age.

Not blaming Tommy for a minute, signing a 3 year deal when you are sitting out with a serious ankle injury is a no brainer. Just not sure why we throw three years at a guy sitting out a year at the time. A year long ankle is not your run of the mill ankle injury. The club doesn't seem to have tried to protect it's interests in any of it's recent contract dealings. Give the bloke an extra ~$50k a year but only a 2 year deal and/or a two year deal with a games played trigger for the third or something. Expecting our medical guys to get players back to 100% is also, at best, ambitious.

Is TC really that much (any?) better than Jacko Nelson anyway? Not sure what the decision tree looked like when they decided which to retain tbh.
