We used to drink Roundup all the time as kids. How else are you going to kill the watermelon plants growing in your stomach from accidentally swallowed seeds?

As I read this, a banjo started playing in my head

Slightly better than TBC
Geelong reading WCE's injury reports:

They way they talk NN's 'return' reads to me like we aren't seeing him this season at all, if ever again.

That injury report was longer than my wedding.

Am I the only one who totally can't recall when Cole even got injured? Just like Longs random disappearance, hamstring awareness nonsense at trainig which has kept him out for what... 4 weeks and counting? It'll be 5 before he returns.

Cole got injured in the last minutes of a game (don't ask me which one, I think it was against Melbourne). A reporter saw an icepack on his ankle and reported it straight after the game, the club didn't admit it until the end of the week.

Mainly to satisfy my own curiosity but also to answer your question

Cole was injured late in the R4 game against Melbourne which was described eventually as stress related complications around the ankle injury

Long (and Hough) last played in R5 against Geelong so they’ve missed 3 games and this weekend will make it 4 for long. Burgiel did his hammy the same weekend in the WAFL and Hewett rolled his ankle as well

My main hope is that they’re being conservative with the young lads and are making sure the hammies are fully recovered before returning

Possible 3 weeks out for Bazzo... Must be worse concussion than usual since it's usually a week.
Bit concerning?

Hurn also injured, so 19 players on the injury list.

This is the either the greatest tank of all time or the most incompetent list and fitness management of all time.

Ah so this week's supplementary division surprise injury is Hurn. I was sort of expecting Allen, on selection night. Who knows might still happen.

Just like Yeo and Shuey, Hurn comes straight back into the side after an injury and immediately gets another injury. The clown show at WCE continues.

Wat.

When do these injuries even happen??

Hurn "rested" then gor injured whilst he was rested, so he's out for even longer... then coming back and lasting two games before being injured again?

Oh boy. Wowee. Goodness gracious me, Suma is penning his article as we speak.
