I read somewhere on the website that there are 19 new Senior Coaches this season in the SFL....Considering there are only 32 sides, that's 60% of clubs getting a new coach.....is this a worrying thing or just something to be taken as a one-off???

Worried about the strength of div 1 this year saw clayton play and played Cheltenham the other week! lack of defensive pressure and 2 way running from both the sides

You'll probably find a few of those coaches were coaching different sfl teams last year in saying that the SFL does generally have a high turnover of coaches.

Moloney a badly injured neck, Harris dislocated shoulder, De Iacovo concussion, Baxter sore back.

Heights had no rotations after quarter time, but nonetheless look like they might struggle this season.

Hope all those boys have a speedy recovery! whenever i hear neck injuries it always sends shivers down my spine!

Ventured down to the peanut farm and caught the 2nd half of St Kilda City & Chelt. Pretty good half of footy with Chelt having the wind in the last and kicking away to win by a couple. I suspect both sides will be around mid-table.
Great to see Mongo & Brett Mason back in the coach's box for City. Haven't had a decent laugh at the local footy for a long time. For anyone going to watch a City game this season, do yourself a favour and stand near the coach's box. You'll be on the ground in stitches in 5 minutes.

Wasn't at game on weekend, only saw a bit of one practice match and had nothing to do with recruiting, so can't give you much!

Dingoes had a pretty good start to the season! Got to say though that the lights at Dingley are better than Sandringham. Pretty tough conditions for both teams.
Only early but our recruiters have kicked some big goals.

Not sure if chelt was having an off day but they didn't exactly perform in seniors or reserves and the mail was they were going to win by 100+ in both games
