Seems like Battle will walk and we'll get pick 6 or 7 as compo so we'll likely load up on this year's draft and then hit trade/FA hard next year with plenty of cap space to make things happen. Wouldn't surprise me if we scrape into the 8 next year and give top 4 a crack in 2026

We've been playing it much more consistently since the bye. Only games where it hasn't appeared since then were the Adelaide game, which was played underwater, and the Brisbane game.

A big part of it is how poor our midfield has been. We're the number one scoring team in the league from defensive 50 but the worst (or one of the worst) from stoppages and clearance.

Having said that we have scored 100 points 3 of our last 5 with one being a 99 pointer.

Ross has been indicating in his press conference this is how he wants us to play now.

Hopefully next season its more like this.

It takes a lot of Talent and fitness and experience to play an attacking and attractive Brand of footy.

You cant average 100 or 110 points a game if you have 5 or 6 blokes aged 20 or under in the squad.

Rest of those games you mentioned kills off the Myth that Ross Lyon always played low scorng footy.

You also killed off the myth that Ross Lyon doesnt play kids. Wanganeen Milera and Cammati and other kids are rotated in and out of the side.

Max King is reatively young too, even though he had injury problems this season.
