What would you rather bet your life on

  • Sydney making the finals in 2023
  • Australia making a successful run chase in the 5th test 4th innings
  • Nick Daicos being left out of the All Australian team

Sydney to make the 8 - betfair have it at $2.80
The Aussies to successfully chase this total* - currently $4.75

I'm optimistic on the latter though

we all know how good gulden has so quickly become, and we've talked about his work rate ... but watching highlights again, the number of times gulden appears around the ball ... getting back to be one of the last men in defence, running past to offer an option to a teammate with the ball, lunging to make tackles or just to be involved, getting free out wide, particularly a few times late in the game ... and he can get up for a big grab!
gulden is a generational player ... and more than just a highly skilled and talented footballer, he's a leader by example
i made a reference weeks ago, but i'm happy to revisit: gulden is as close as i've seen to the type of player paul kelly was to the swans
Agree 100%. He's an absolute jet.

I'm surprised he doesn't run 25km a match with the way he turns up all over the ground. It's almost as if he teleports.

I was watching him at the ground for a bit. He'd kick out of defense and just keep running, and I'd see the ball on the wing and he's already halfway down the corridor

Girls in the DQ household spent most of the 2nd half determining who “the cutest Swan is”.

Drove me up the wall, but for those interested, the results are in:

1. Errol
2. Rowy
3. Some snowboarding guy in the crowd
4. Heeeny
5. McI
Is Rampe going to have to open the bathrobe to get onto the list? Don't make him do it.

Great post. He just has that will and desire to impact the game every single second. Just goes at 100% all day like Kelly did.

but he has pretty much all the skills too
a lot of players with that determination but not the skills and talent kelly had ... or indeed that gulden has

The wallabies always get bent over against the All Blacks. Seriously, how many Beldisloe Cups have the Wallabies won? ah, 12 out of 62. Great average lol.

Not quite St Kilda

And a big shout out to the NSW Scallopinis.

the abbreviation of "once in a generation" to "generational" is beyond stupid.

"Generational" means 'of a generation', e.g. "a millenial's tendency to not work hard is a generational trait"

Every single player in the AFL right now are generational.

right ... apologies ...
and that would be "every single player in the afl right now is generational"
