I tend to agree. I don't understand the concept of waiting a certain amount of time before making someone a Legend. They're not gonna get any more legendary when they're not playing anymore!
I tend to disagree.

The 5 years is effectively a “cooling off” period to ensure decisions aren’t made based on hype and emotion.

Buddy will be a legend. So will Ablett. But I like the current system.

Agree with this. His time will come eventually. No need to rush it.

You get double the mileage out of announcing two things, and the AFL PR people seem to like that.

With some players a cooling off period is a good idea (I'm thinking players like Hodge, JPK, Joel Selwood). They might be deemed worthy of Legend status or maybe not. But with someone like Buddy (or Ablett) it is patently obvious that they will be Legends and I wouldn't care if they skipped step 1.

Pfft about time Horse had a go at the Presser, he has a long way to go to match Scott Harwick etc
Should have went harder, was ridiculous, 5 free kick goals and 2x 50m penalties, was an even game unfairly impacted by umpiring.

I still don’t know exactly what buddy needs to do to get a free. Doesn’t get any protection from umpires, different to most forwards these days.

We got 2 gifts

Cornes roasting Horse for his mini tanty in the presser - it was good for Horse to show some emotion other than the usual monotony but he was probably feeling the same as the rest of us after the saints game, pissed that two questionable 50s swung the momentum and pace of the game

Rather than being in a position where the Saints had to take risks, we had to instead

Maybe he could answer what was a reasonable question, otherwise it suggests he didn't say much because he didn't have a clue what to change!

He's starting to go down the Mick Malthouse path in pressers.
Not good.
He should just answer it.

First question I would ask Horse at a presser?

Why are you not sitting down on the interchange area anymore Horse?

Hmm three players have impressed Longmire!!
Chad Warner, Errol Gulden; the guys that had a good last year have continued to progress which has been really pleasing,” Longmire exclusively told Sydney Swans Media.

“Logan McDonald was taking some positive steps before he got injured and Hayden McLean has been quite consistent.”

The bond shared between mother and daughter Nadene and Kyah McBride was strengthened by their love and commitment to the Singleton Roosters Football Club.

The mother-daughter duo – who remain unaccounted for after the Hunter Valley bus crash on Sunday

Kyah was selected to represent the Sydney Swans in the Women’s Summer Series round.

Swans players will wear black armbands in memory of the crash victims when they play the Brisbane Lions this weekend.
“We are deeply saddened by the horrific events over the weekend,” Sydney Swans chief executive Tom Harley said.

"Is anyone in the Swans going to stand up?" Oof - that's a fair question

It gives Buddy a big serve.
Rightly so. Not doing enough.

Can we concentrate on footy
The club promoting itself amongst different communities is how a club operates. That's just good business. If you think its all build it and they will come these days then you have no understanding of the Sydney market.

I really don't , but could find better things to promote than that pack of bullies
