Or people who don't spend all their day on social media, listening to SEN or being told porkies at the pub, might instead prefer to visit the one site to get all their news.....you know....Big Footy's 'Swans Talk in the Media'.

Or at least they would if reading the forum they weren't constantly told by one individual what they can post, where they should post and what they should think.

Your constant carping really makes this site unenjoyable.

And yes there is the 'ignore' button, but you post so much ill informed nonsense, that people feel the need to correct, it's virtually impossible to read the forum with you on ignore.

Anyway just popped in, read your statement and I'm off again.

no! wait!! stay!!

Not specific to Swans chat but this woman crossed to Swans games, did interviews with our folk and has been on the airwaves for decades.

Sadly ill health has forced the retirement of the much admired Karen Tighe from the ABC. KT did a super job anchoring Grandstand for over a generation.

Rowbottom's highly rated on here. People just don't want him getting the ball and prefer a 7 gamer. But they really rate him!

i think the team has space and a need for both rowbottom and sheldrick (if that's who you're referring to), i've always been a fan of rowbottom (with or without the ball) and i think sheldrick is potentially a genuine top-class midfielder
jordon may well have been "training the house down" but i'd imagine he did the same at melbourne and was still just a fringe senior player ... he has to prove himself better than that at the swans
from various posts in recent weeks, you can see the swans players seriously rate rowbottom and sheldrick, i still believe both should be ahead of jordon in the pecking order ... and even if sheldrick is not ahead right now, i have no doubt he will be at some point in the season

No mention of first crack on here?

Swans were around 1:12mins into show

Montagna has the swans 9-11th.

Ticky: Updated timeline for accuracy :tongueoutv1:

Swans were around 60mins in.

Didn't realise it was back, cheers.

From First Crack:

Montagna: “For me, the toughest team to assess to try and work out where to put (is) Sydney. They were 2-8 against top-eight teams last year, they’ve got some young talent, we know about that, (Errol) Gulden and Chad Warner and Nick Blakey’s an absolute star … For me, it’s going to rest on their four All-Australians.

King: “They’ve been given the best list free kick of all time with Brodie Grundy. At 29 years of age, low kilometres on the clock, he’s a dual All-Australian, dual best-and-fairest … I can see them really bouncing, really bouncing. They get three or four players that they’re going to play – Brodie’s definitely going to play (and) James Jordon is chronically underrated, I think he’ll play a lot of minutes in this midfield … I’m excited about where they can go.”

Predicted finish

King
: Top eight

Montagna: Just missing finals

In fairness Montagna did also say that but for the results against Adelaide/NM with the hitting the post, extra interchange we would have been 13th but that we also have players back from injury.

King's stat on our inability to win from 3/4 leads was damning. Up 17 times but only won 11. Whereby the top teams had a 100% conversion rate for wins. We need to improve in that area significantly to ensure we get a top4 finish.

I'm okay with Montagne's assessment, there's a lot of improvement to be done before we are a top 4 team.

Montagna has the brains and the personal credibility of S.Milne.

Montagna really has a personal grudge against us doesn't he.

Having just watched our segment, he literally prefaces it with saying he thinks he'll get egg on his face and thinks we'll prove him wrong.

I'm not seeing any of that, so it must be a different menu if you log in as a member of the site, which I'm not so can't really help here. Sorry mate.
That's ok. Have contacted them. So far no joy. Generally they fix things up pretty quickly. I don't know why they don't use the same format for practice games as they do for Premiership Season games and put streams on the home page as well as replays. They only put up Official AFL games, our game against Lions etc, on home screen. Replays are showing AFLW
