You're thinking of Dew, he's talking about Maxfield
Ohh my bad thats a real shame so many ex champions seem to be on bad terms with us.

Even Grundy just a year in our system is using it wont "define us"
UGH!!
Eh emotions wont define them, I dunno, yeah whatever, at least he said something, unlike some who have shat the bed multiple times
Chad Warner was busy promoting something today on hisNice of one player to say something
I mean if I were Callum Mills, how hard as skipper of the team is it to take 5 minutes to chuck something on insta saying what a hard year he had, it sucked to miss so much, but he will train his **** off so he can help the boys go one better, sorry it wasn't what the fans wanted, but I will do everything as will the team to goone better next year.
The whole thing is just weird mate i dont know why its that deep but i agree with you at least posted something more relatable unlike Blakey who was off his head saying "life is good"
Chad Warner was busy promoting something today on his
There is a very iconic picture taken of Mills and Longmire walking off admist the Lions celebrations quite powerful the devastation of it all i thought.
I dont think Mills is that kind of captain i dont think he is a great motivator.
Grundy is the only one that’s said something about the GF so farWas he, geez

The music is shit to but what do you expect from AFL players thoughThe comments
Strikes me as someone who laps them all up and reads
I'd like the club to issue a statement from the players along the lines of;
We realise we left ourselves, the club and our supporters down on the weekend.
Together we will review the GF and the season as a whole and seek to understand our failings and how we can improve going forward
We cannot let this performances define the club or our legacy as players
We understand actions speak louder than words and we hope and expect to show all our supporters a team they can be proud of in the seasons to come.
Accept responsibility, accept the failure, seek to understand the issues, address those issues, implement change
Not easy to do, particularly publicly, but if they don't I fear history will repeat.
Do I expect it to happen?
Sadly NO
I wonder? You will hear allll of that and much MORE on Friday night
As well as it will not define us !
And don't forget Rampe saying how proud he was of all the players.Just heard Horse and Ramps speeches at the GF dinner.
I have to say that I am disappointed with the messaging. No apologies to the members / fanbase for an absolute no-show, no words of real encouragement for 2025, just platitudes + congrats to the Lions.
To me at least, there was a lack of self awareness and remorse. I get that it's all a bit raw ATM but I was expecting more.
Not happy.
Surely our coaches would've played out various scenarios including "what if the zone is not working" and "what if the Lions are not turning it over". Maybe send the message to go man on man, get an extra at the contest, move some magnets around etcA reason for zone might be to limit the defensive frailties of certain players.
Only responds to teammates tho
They played so bad I am starting to think they weren't zoning at all; it was just their attempt at manning upSurely our coaches would've played out various scenarios including "what if the zone is not working" and "what if the Lions are not turning it over". It just seemed like it was zone or bust.
