Autopsy Sydney Legacy in Grand Finals continues 10 goal loss to the Lions

Fair, but the "gimmie goal at least" makes it sound like he did nothing else.

Oh ok no didn't mean that sorry, I felt like he at least wasn't overawed. But also Fox is arguably the 22nd guy picked so I don't expect more than him playing a role either.

Plus I am not sure the coaches have decided what role he has yet either.

Yeah, well who cares what the coaches think imo.

If I was coach, I'm picking him Round 1 next year down back and if it means someone with a better highlights reel misses out oh well.

We deserve every bit of vitriol and mocking we get tbh.

Maybe day 1 of pre season the coaches can get a compilation of clips together and show it to the players to bring some sort of response or motivation to respond next year.
Can’t have that.
That’s work place bullying.
Only say good things.

Has anyone been able to work out what the Swans were at least trying to do with the zone defence and the way we attacked etc?
Zone so we could hopefully rebound. Gave players an excuse to be lazy. Let Lions get comfortable with hands on the ball. Clarko did this to us every time at Hawthorn, we never learn.
Joe Biden had a terrible debate and got ousted, now Democrats likely to win. Change is needed, losing that way again is a sackable offence for coaches and players imo.

Man they missed a lot of goals Lol

Could of been a heck more embarrassing 3-4 of our goals were in junk time as well...
Junk time started half way through the second

Kudos managing to get Biden/Harris comparison in.

Wow you changed your tune.

I thought it was all about Jack liking fast players.

Now it’s get rid of the coaches.at least you want that done fast

Longmire struggling to hear and doing his press conference while Brisbane is singing in the background sums up the day.
It goes to show what an amateurish organisation the AFL is. They force coaches to go to a press conference that they have no wish to go to and then have it held in a room no more than 20 meters away from the victorious Brisbane Lions room where the noise level was obviously at the highest level. Even a dumb arse 16 year old work experience kid would have known that this won't work.
If that's not bad enough, they spend $4M for 20 odd minutes of Katie Perry yet they refuse to spend $5-10K to provide speakers in the press conference room. Apparently the fact that the viewing public cannot hear a single question from the reporters is of no importance to the AFL. F..k the general public, they say !!
The press conferences are only there for the benefit of the media. They can hear what the questions are. That being so, we even make them available to the irrelevant public. You know, the public, who actually make the AFL viable.

The sad fact is that the 60 point margin actually flattered us. It had all the makings of a 100 point thrashing and probably would have been in the regular season when percentage was important. Brisbane took their foot off the pedal once the win was secure and just started enjoying the day.

To me it was more demoralizing than 2022 imo.

Completely dismantled at every facet of the game.

Florent got a lot of criticism from Matthew Lloyd for the 3rd Lohman goal early in the 2nd quarter.

But from the top down view, you can see so many Swans players just jogging slowly and not covering their man. Gulden is with Lohman and he just stops and stands at half way when Lohman keeps running forward to receive the ball to kick the goal.

And this is 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter when we were 7 points down.

I feel sorry for our fans who traveled down. But there were a few of our players who did not deserve to be Premiers. So I feel a lot of respect to the Brisbane players who earned the Premiership with their attitude and how they played.
WHAT ABOUT THE FANS IN MELBOURNE !

I have to agree. I concede that that may be partly due to me being at the ground for this one, so it seems more ‘personal’ if that makes sense, or maybe because this is the second humiliation in three years but, yep, this one really burns.

It's all subjective, but you're right it does feel more personal and in your face at the ground.

Was at both.

For me, 2022 was worse, but because I had more hope. I thought we were a good chance of toppling Geelong who we'd beaten that year. It was like getting slapped in the face with every Cats goal.

Whereas on Saturday, having experienced 2022, I knew firsthand it could happen again against a team we should beat (I feared the Hawks of 2014 more), so when it did, it was just numbness and bewilderment more than anything.

Ahh yes, maybe show them posts from
That True Bloods. Facebook Page with the Happy Clappers trying to tell people who criticise the team to be “True supporters”
Shits me those type of supporters.

"We should be happy we made the GF..we did better than 16 other.." stfu
