but he hasnt. couple of flat track bully performances at home but other than that he's been weak. youd only do that so that you ruin him instead of a kid.

100% agree, look at his record, kids been a flop

Khawaja's hundreds

174- Australia scored 8/820 for the Test v NZ at Brisbane

121 - Draw LMAO at scorecard - Australia 9/559, NZ 624, Australia 7/385, NZ 2/102

144 - Australia 3/551 v Windies

140 - Australia 562 v NZ, Voges 239*

145 - v South Africa Day/Night game, low scoring game so I'll give him this one.

171 - v England, averaged 25 for the first 4 Tests, England didn't want to be there, 4-0 down, hard tour and they pretty much conceded defeat, Australia scored 7/649 and won by a innings.

141 - His best innings imo, Australia held on for a Draw but it was flat, Australia just suck in those conditions.

101* - Australia 8/730 for the match, Sri Lanka were toothless.

6/8 worthless hundreds, so out of 8 hundreds, you can give him 2 that were worth while.

Khwaja's body of work in his career has not been stellar and he does not put runs on the board when Australia needs it in a big series like the Ashes. That's why he is not in the team. I merely used the Ashes as a comparison to someone selecting one match were Khwaja managed to get a double century in Dubai.

Literally the last ashes innings Usman played in Australia he scored 170

AND stop calling him a crab, hopefully he does not read this forum as his confidence must be right down at the moment.Importantant we support all our players, even the guys that are going through a rough trot.

Rule #1 when you are a professional sports person SHOULD be to stay away from social media when you're not going well.

That's great mate. Just getting a bit tiresome and seems unnecessarily personal.

I don’t blame him it’s blind obvious he isn’t test standard. I blame the selectors 100 times more who keep picking the bloke. Not as if he’s some fantastic fielder to make his batting shortcomings okay either

no hundred is worthless. but its just that when you look at his career of 44 games (yes, its really that many) his average is held up by a small number of out of the box performances in very favourable conditions. ie he has the potential to go big if conditions favour, but most the time hes very very average.

I think with Marcus its all the things that have added up to that point. Its not just this series. Getting quite a lot of tests to prove himself even though he hasn't put up a major score in a while, the Stokes drop at Headingley which would have sealed it, and the series against India and England now.
