Eventually that West Coast side is going to have it's fortunes turn, because there's still too many experienced players there. I think they'll start winning again over the second half of the year.

Watching today I am convinced that Thilthorpe is going to be a Ruck. Doesn't have any real forward craft. But around the ground and Ruck contests is quite good.

Didn't win a lot of taps, but for a second year player in Ruck he was quite good.


Too timid as a forward.

To be fair that was one of worst/most boring games I’ve ever seen us play

It wasn't inconsistent, it was often incompetent.

We kicked 4.4 in the 2nd quarter and missed 3 easy set shots after kicking 5.2 in the 1st quarter. I'll call that inconsistent which has always happened to a young a rebuild side.

Rowe was bloody awful: every disposal to the oppo, or points. Crouch not much better.
TT not AFL standard, but did a few reasonable things in ruck in the last. He has zero confidence and was just a traffic cone in the first three.
Murphy, Rowe, McAdam goalkicking dreadful.

That was two hours of my life I won't get back. Uninspiring, low effort kind of game.

The theatre goers will be happy though. 8th spot still a mathematical chance.
