My son has cyclic vomiting syndrome, he can go three days vomiting every 90 seconds when he gets a bout. He has to be hospitalised and placed on a drip when it gets bad. Last time when he was asking "why me?" I showed him a photo of a little kid in a bombers jumper. He realised, there's always someone who has it worse than he does.

My son got diagnosed with Crohns aged 13 after having a massive boil erupt out of his lower back and subsequently collapsing to the floor in a Hospital hallway.
He was looking alright to have a shot at the professional pathway to soccer before that, now he's about to start first year at THE Ohio State University studying Astrophysics.

He is doing very much better now thank you. Pretty much hasn't had a bout since that post. I stopped taking him to the hospital because all they did was give him a antiemetics and he started having dystolic reactions every time. So I started applying my own medical knowledge. (Having worked in drug design - Essendon admin... not that sort of drug - for a number of years) I administered an over-the-counter calmative and he's been fine since. Fingers crossed.

The fact some supporters are still drinking the kool aid convincing themselves that outside that pesky little doping scandal he was actually a good coach because he brought the best results they had in a decade...

HE BROUGHT THEM BECAUSE HE WAS DRUGGING THEM NOT BECAUSE HE WAS A GOOD COACH...

It doesn't surprise me they would welcome him back because they have taken almost no responsibility for the entire saga. Those two are a match made in heaven.
