That kind of guy is never a true KPD. This is what we are trying to shoe horn him into.

We already have Doedee down back as the interceptor type role.


He looks to hunt the ball.

Give him the rest of the season to play up forward and I reckon he will be the agile tall forward we lack.

Fog the brute. They could be a great pair of KPFs.

Might even tidy up our forward entries with some movement up there.

Right now we have two static KPFs in Tex a and Fog.

Sloane gave everything and I think Talia was okay. Hard to judge the younger guys.

As per my comment in the game day thread the heat has to be on Lynch, Walker and Laird. Sure guys like Brown, Kelly and O'Brien make mistakes but we are not paying them big money. It's the older guys on big salaries that are our biggest problem.

I love Tex but last year his performances were embarrassing but this year I have pity for him.

Talia is one of the few senior players I'd keep until retirement, equal parts needing his type of senior player in defence and in the locker room, and other teams not being into him enough to offer the right value.

Lot of senior player need to go. Start with Walker. A witch's hat would be more productive. I can't understand why a team that made a GF can degenerate the way ours has in 3 short years. We should be still contending. Something stinks at the AFC. Maybe one day we'll find out what. This is a senior playing group that don't play for the club that pays them.

I can - we were being entirely carried by players who were 28+ who have now tapered off or left, and many to most of our players younger than that just aren't as good as they were hyped to be.
