AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Kellys manager is just voicing tim and his wifes frustration .Also don’t think Kelly’s manager has handled things perfectly either, seems a bit of a tosser?
We would have got the same pick for gaff if he left as we would have for lycett .*and what the Eagles received for Lycett.
But yeah, unlike the AFL to make up rules on the run...
Pretty sure Voss had a "get out" clause on his contract like most assistant coaches.Everyone is forgetting that we also let Voss break his contract and leave for the lion (probably a blessing in disguise)
looooooool we'd be bending Hawthorn over if we traded 24 and 33 for 11. No way in hell that happens.
Sooooo much better.wait, are you telling us.....
You use night mode?
Yep, seems more likely 2020 first rounder + 33 for pick 11.
Think Lycett trade value was about right given he was a ruckman.*and what the Eagles received for Lycett.
But yeah, unlike the AFL to make up rules on the run...
Oi! Dylan. DYLAN, you son-of-a-gun. It’s tomorrow already. Wake up and tell us the trade news. WillieNillie has already overtaken you with the Kelly update.Wake up Dylan!Cmon, Dylan. We need our trade news. If I start yelling at the kids unnecessarily because I’m in a bad mood while waiting for my trade news, that’s on you, Dylan.
View attachment 758898This what ima say to that son of a bitch Dylan when i see him next
Who is this Dylan and how did he get hold of a crystal ball ?If Dylan82 doesn’t get this trade done by sundown tomorrow morning I’m exiling him to Geelong. All will be revealed when Dylan finally wakes up.Anyway know where he lives?
1,000 of us can camp out on his lawn every night, awaiting the latest news.Honestly. Who sleeps until 3pmHe's still speechless from all the news he's found out.Someone may need to organise a welfare check on Dylan...Ok catch me up - whos Dylan and why are we waiting for him to wake up?He knows people. Also known as
View attachment 759156Dylan looking at all his text messages. He's not coming back gaiz
And how long does he sleep?
Sent from my SM-G930F using TapatalkReally disliking the name Dylan all of sudden, can't work out why. He's our oracle descended from the holy mountain, clutching the golden tablets of football, he's our fountain of leather pill knowledge, the high priest of facts and data crunching...but today, it seems on here that he has slept in and is a very naughty boy?I think Dylan has Chicky’s alarm clock. Might wake up wondering how the hell paint got in his hair too...Off to find Dylan gaiz
You mean I just scrawled through 14 odd pages to see a Dylan post with some info but all I got was a deranged feline banging on likes he’s on a bad acid trip
View attachment 759224Turns out Dylan's phone pinging away when he was out on the piss was his mum/wife/partner telling him to get the fu** home and now he's had his internet privileges cancelled.Well there’s only one explanation for this. Dylan is holding out on us guys. He got some great info and he’s not sharing it. Kelly for only a 3rd rounder confirmed!Having a coffee , Dylan not far away .....When did you stop caring Dylan?
Was it all just a lie?
Is your name even Dylan?
Betrayal

Whoa...
Everybody, cool out...
First off - I'd be much happier if I had spent the day sleeping. I will spare the details, but involves relatives, airports, long weekend traffic and going an a jog around the block that ended up becoming more than 20km.
Tried to keep up with the 20+ pages being added here on phone during the day, but it's been one of those days to be honest. Easier to post something cohesive now the kids have finally fallen asleep.
Messages have been coming thick and fast but I'm not sure what make of them to be honest - there is a lot of crap that is going around, more than I can recall in previous years, and the trade period isn't even officially open yet.
Take the man of the hour - T.Kelly. I've received everything from it being done in a picks only deal, using only 2019 picks, using next year's picks, to players being added, to two, three, four, five, even six clubs in total being involved.
It is absolutely ridiculous, I have not come across anything like this before over a particular deal. I'm almost at a loss for reasons why, but a lot of normally level-headed people have seemingly lost their composure over this deal - which is simply baffling because it has been fait accompli since it failed to take place in 2018. Considering the time of year, I actually switched the phone off during the day in order to ignore some of the garbage that is coming through.
Points of note:
- Geelong apparently started negotiations asking for two first round picks for T.Kelly this year with extras.
- West Coast opening with 14 + 2020 2nd for T.Kelly.
- The Kelly camp is very upset with the way Geelong have approached this - whatever happens he will not be at the Cats next year.
- T.Kelly will only go to Fremantle as a last resort if a deal with West Coast is unable to be completed.
- Fremantle are offering nothing in addition to their pick 7.
- Strong suggestion that unless another club is involved the final deal will be 14 + 2019 2nd + 2020 2nd in exchange for T.Kelly + 55 + 2020 3rd.
- Should get done early in the period, with other to be done deals dependent upon its outcome.
- Geelong will then offer pick 14 to Adelaide for B.Crouch.
- The Hawthorn pick 11 trade for 24 and 33 (as earlier posted here by WillieNillie) made a lot of rounds yesterday - albeit with a 2020 swap of second and third round picks. Nothing further about it today, which suggests it was on previously then it has cooled now.
- Eagles looking to split and/or trade the remaining second round pick for another midfielder (usual suspects mentioned here - e.g. SPP, Acres, Zuhaar named as well).
- Effectively trading out of the draft for T.Kelly and another player.
- A lot of people involved around clubs are just as puzzled about the potential Daniher to Sydney deal as the rest of us are.
- Nobody seems to be coming up with a way that St Kilda and Carlton can make all these deals happen with the picks they have without getting into absurdity.
Hopefully some sanity starts to kick-in on Monday once deals start getting done. This period so far has been awful for the amount of fake stories going around. Getting to the point where I just want it over already before it even officially begins.

excellent, appreciate the help and support and those brilliant articles you post
Kellys manager is just voicing tim and his wifes frustration .
People have no idea how hard autistic children are and the stress it puts on a family .
All they want is to be home surrounded by their support network
This isn’t going to please those already peeved about us drafting Ainsworth ahead of Worpel
I reckon that was true before the combine. But Maginness might have tested himself into the top 10.I just don’t get why they’d deal out pick 11 to us at all.
It’s not sounding likely that a bid will come for Maginness before that pick. At the moment they’ve also got picks 30 and 51. Those picks alone allow them to match any bid from pick 15 and beyond. Meaning if they hold 11, they’re a damn good chance of getting the 11th best kid in this draft and Maginness. Why throw that away to get some points they’re unlikely to need?
If things change in the leadup to the draft and it looks like he’s going to bolt into the top ten, there’s plenty of scope now for pick swaps before, and even the day of, the draft. Which won’t help us because the time for a trade for Kelly will have passed, but it’s not Hawthorn’s job to help us.

I'm start to get the feeling you don't have an opinion of them.I hope Adelaide tell the cats to go and eat a bag of dicks.

Or at least string them out and make them suffer, say all kinds of pathetic things to the media, then say we are dealing respectfully and then refuse to do the deal after making impossible demands. Especially say 'we don't want to make a competitor stronger'.I hope Adelaide tell the cats to go and eat a bag of dicks.
