Apparently Clarkson will be announced as Crows senior coach on Oct 8. I don't often get bits of mail so specific as this. I have my doubts but it will be a massive, massive coup if true. I imagine the drums will only beat louder now until an official announcement is made. It's going to be a noisy 2 weeks.

Given Clarko's track record, should be announced tomorrow. He left us the week of the grand final. I never venture outside our board. Does the Hawthorn board know Clarko has left?

Camporeale is apparently now a smokey for the gig. Ricciuto was on the turps at the Alma and overheard bragging that Adelaide have produced a lot of great ACs in the last few years and that it might be time for an experienced AC to take the next step.

Outside of this comment,,, the Crows are walking a fine line here. Things could really unravel and Ricciuto could become our best friend.

Anyway, anything less than Clarkson is now A MASSIVE FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we went with Primus over Chris Scott in 2011 a lot of posters argued that Scott coaching Geelong to a premieirship in his first season proved he was a far better coach and that his success had nothing to do with the playing list he inherited.
