I love the fact that AA won't even speculate who the cows coach is.
If this rumour has some truth to it and the Hawks wanna play hard ball it'll certain be an early test of this so-called new "ruthlessness" at West Lakes.

Rather strange. Only time cRowie goes quiet is when he know something. Where is the "Clarkson or bust, anything else is not good enough" approach I have come to love.
Clarkson was gonna coach West Coast this time last year wasn't he? 
and all the cans of coke he can drink in the coach's box.

Remember that episode of "The Big Bang Theory" where Amy started a rumour she had sex with Sheldon? How fast was that accepted even though there was no substance to it at all? And just to underline the credibility(or lack thereof) of Jars he once said he would walk down Rundle Mall at 6.00am in winter dressed like a sumo wrestler if Port won one of the showdowns. They did and he walked down Rundle Mall in the bitter cold but with a fat suit on to make him look like a sumo wrestler.

Bloody hell, add that to their Sando pay out & that's a great use of SANFL (rent free) funds, weren't we being called a drain on SA footy? here they are spending 1mil to payout a coach & then another 8mil for a 5 year coach.Jars has made the call apparently......... Hopefully Damian Barrett comes out on the Footy Show tonight and announces that Clarko is going to be the coach of the crows.

Clarkson could be announced as coach of the Crows with Mick Malthouse as his senior assistant and it wouldn't make a difference. Robert DiPierdomenico said it best on the radio this afternoon - great teams are those that buy in to the culture and work together to pursue success. They don't expect it to happen, they make it happen. When an anonymous player says 'with Sanderson, we'd make the eight next season. With this new coach, we'll be top four'...that tells you that they think it's just going to happen.
Hawthorn has a culture of success, because they all buy in to the ethos of the club. Sydney, Geelong...it's an internal thing, driven by everyone at the club. I dearly hope Clarkson does get a nice fat payday to be the Crows coach, because it will cripple their club when things don't turn out the way they should and it will prove that Clarkson is just like Roos.

What is amusing about this Clarko thing, is reading the Forums in both Hawk and Crow land.
Both groups of supporters are quick to judge/beleive and comment on how things will play out, most of course think it will go their way. A fair amount of 1 group of supporters is VERY wrong, I won't claim to know which one. Just for giggles, I'll call that Clarko going nowhere... but we will know quite soon, with all the media and him getting asked point blank soon enough.
If its wrong, I feel sorry for the Hawks supporters having to put up with the garbage in GF week. If it is true..... then you get what you deserve.

If 5AA are staying dead silent - there must be some truth to this rumour. They would've been better off following Jars' lead and playing dumb than ignoring it altogether.

Or they are worried about getting their supporters hopes up only to reveal Ratten or Bassett. Though that has never bothered them before.
