No one is defending any form of anti-social behaviour. Much of the discussion here relates to how the media in this state portrays Port as the devil incarnate, and the crows as the Vatican.

I get that. I think most parts of the media are an absolute disgrace but I honestly think there's parts of the media and neutral footy fans that desperately want you to succeed.
Please don't compare us to the Vatican, I'm of the opinion the devil incarnate runs that joint but that's a different conversation

We need to work together to stamp this out. It will only work if you have the character to make the person next to you an example if they are the one being abusive.

Pointing fingers saying who's wrong or which club has released a better statement won't help. We are all complicit in this, we will be until it no longer is an issue.

One of the fights on the weekend stemmed from a power supporter defending a crows supporter getting spat on. That's the type of human I'd watch the footy with. I don't condone fighting but I support standing up for others.

Funny that. With the Betts incident (both) our club came out straight away with statements but were abused by your customers for apparently being too slow off the mark. However when it's one of yours in trouble and a coward at that it's all perfectly fine for Fagan to treat is as a mere 'sideshow' compared to the Betts incident. Get my drift?

Difference is the evidence of Betts vilification came to light very quickly. I can't speak for how others react and I'm sure there are crows customers/supporters who are moronic and will find fault regardless of ports response. Have a read of our board, no one is claiming that this is fine or a sideshow.
