Anthony Caminiti (196cm)
Mitch Owens (191cm)
Tim Membry (188cm)

We'd have
Butts (198cm)
Hinge (189cm)
Doedee (187cm)

That's not accounting for when Owens rucks and Marshall (201cm) sits forward. Don't think we should be relying on Hinge to be a 1-1 defender though.
Excuse the intrusion.
We also played Sharman last week for the first time this season. He’s 193cm.
Had a pretty good game (with one great speccy) so I’m pretty sure he’ll play again this weekend.

Think it’s going to be a very tight game - honestly can’t pick a winner, but home ground advantage will certainly count for something.

“He performed particularly well”? Seriously, -16m gained in a half of football. WTF!
Its bewildering isnt it..

Just absolutely bewildering.

16m gained by a midfielder in a half of footy..

What a fxxkn return!.

The Crows have also named midfielder Matt Crouch, who came on as the substitute during last week’s game against Geelong, Ned McHenry, Lachlan Gollant and Elliott Himmelberg on an extended bench.

“Matt (Crouch) played well last week and he put his hand up,” Nicks said.

“He came in earlier than anticipated with Muzza (Nick Murray) going out and we thought he performed particularly well.

“His name is there and we’ll have a look at that depending on whether we make a change to our midfield.”

Did anyone predict the 23 to become the 22 with Muzz out and Ned to sub?

For 3 years in a row now we’ve seen the same old story, start the season off relatively well with some fresh energy then by this stage of year they fall back into the same old pattern of going short down in defence, heavily relying on Tex to kick a score to win and having your Laird, Sloane, Keays and Crouch types back as the key cogs in the midfield.

Why can’t we just leave Rachele up forward and give him at maximum just 20% time in the midfield?

He is a forward not a midfielder.
I'm with you but given the talk around his performance and the reduction in CBAs I just think they may think a rest will benefit

Parnell is in to the starting 18.

No other tall defender even in the extended squad
Strange Worrell isn't even in the extended squad.

Should be playing imo.

Mitch Owens is their backup ruck, but could easily bring in Tom Campbell to ruck and plant Marshall forward while he's coming off a rolled ankle.
Very much doubt that will happen.
Ross doesn’t appear to like playing two ruckmen. Campbell is named every week just as a “break the glass” option in case Roma has a problem before the game, so I wouldn’t read too much into his selection.

Do you think one of Fog or Tex may have some issues and be rested, given Gollant and Berg named?
Fog should be rested for Gollant to get his knee right.

No point playing him injured.

Its like clockwork.

it wont change until the whole club, except Burgess, is fully cleaned out.

its ingrained.

I'm not against a coach trying something and finding it doesn't work. Our issue is we try something, find it doesn't work and then we try it again and again and hope for different results.

No no no. This is completely wrong.

It was minus 16m

I'd think with the body of work so far, max michalanney can go 3rd tall leaving butts and doedee to take membrey and caminiti
Hinge will be the 3rd tall imo.

It's a good news story the club can sell to the happy clapper members. Cooked past champion returns.
