This guy is the best character in the Sandlerverse

Does anyone play Rocket League on PS4? This is the most fun multiplayer game to play with your mates since Mariokart 64 or NBA Hangtime.

lol!

I'd probably have the El Scorcho username if Sony hadn't made me choose my unchangeable username using my PS2 when I was 15.

anyway if you're on PS4 add me! ThunderPower14

My blue team car is unashamedly teal and black.

Saw The Revenant tonight.

Gnarly is the word that comes to mind.
Saw it on Tuesday night.

I thought Leo was very good.

At 156 minutes it is too long and could have been cut by at least 30 minutes with a bit of tighter editing.

Needed a fair bit of suspension of disbelief as there is so much factually wrong with that movie.

Three and a half stars. Margaret?

Saving that for a possibly belated Valentine's date with the wife. Yes, this was her choice. Then again our first date was the highly romantic Blade. #geekgirls.
Am going tomorrow night with GF prior to dinner... YES!

Just played my first couple of games of Rocket League, scored twice in my second game. Holy shit this is fun! I'm an idiot for not getting it earlier.

Now I've got shit to do and I just want to play.
I've found it good for bursts of half an hour or so, especially after I get frustrated from dying in Dark Souls. PS 2v2 is probably the best format - room to move but with some backup in defense and teamwork unlike 1v1.

I was playing 3 on 3 which I enjoyed, 1 car staying back on D and the other 2 chasing the ball like headless chooks. I'm still very much discovering what it's all about so I'll make sure I give the other game modes a crack.

3 is probably "how its meant to be played" and it's great fun but utter chaos sometimes. 4v4 is just unplayable, you'd be lucky to get 2 goals in 5 minutes. Anyway, enjoy.

Does anywhere in Adelaide actually do good fried chicken? I've only had half decent fried chicken at NOLA, everywhere else I've tried is rubbish.

One thing I realised when watching the movie for the first time since my teen years last night, was how on point the humour is, which is one thing that carried over in to the TV show. SG-1 was ridiculously funny at times but never overdone.

I reckon if it was made today, you might have seen Spader and Russel in the TV series, given it is more common for big actors to do TV.

Ah well, as long as any remake/reboot doesn't fill the screen with some seriously shitty blurry cgi ship battle mess, I don't think I've seen a single fighter plane thingy scene in any movie in the last 15 years that hasn't looked like that. Movies like Return of the Jedi and the original Independence Day will have the best looking ship battles in history until Hollywood realises that seeing a bunch of pixels fly around a bunch of other pixels looks like crap.

I loved it and even though it was long, it didn't feel it. I think cutting too much would be of detriment to the general feeling of it being a hard and desperate journey.

The visuals were stunning (completely shot using natural light, bar one scene) and the suspense was unreal in some parts. Had me squirming in my seat.

Leo worthy of the Oscar and Tom also fantastic. Two of the best actors of their generation imo.

A solid 4.5 David.
