Maylin was smuggled onto the field as a surprise inclusion in his Round 1 debut against Collingwood in 1980. Had an excellent debut with 19 possessions and a goal, as we spanked the Pies by about 6 goals. I remember it fondly as I had endured a week at school of Pies fans telling me how "Carlton were going down this year", blah, blah, blah.
