"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results."
Generally attributed to Albert Einstein.

Don't know about you, but this travesty of an entity
that seeped into my bloodstream when i was a wee lad
seems to override any logical thought of why continue to bash up
against the predictable wall of failure!

I used to have the deluded view that we as saints fans
represented the most noble and enlightened fanbase when it came
down to a blind, loyal dedication to the perennial underdogs!
Dealing with it in our common bond with great humour!

Now i fear we are breeding some seriously psychotic masochists
that just may take over the world on their demented rage filled blitzkreig!........

See this post is the final confirmation that this Atrocity of a club has
sent me stark raving batshit crazy!....:eyes:

Ahhh just might pull up a couch and get naked, curdle up in a ball, start rocking back and forth
whispering over and over serenity now..serenity now.....:pill:

I'm moving toward ECO, a day off the forum and spending more time doing real stuff helped. The game result was kind of expected so didn't hurt. I even see to be resigned to them ****ing up the trade and draft period.

What ever happens happens and I have no control over it. I just can't guarantee that if Melbourne win a premiership this year that I won't end up having a complete breakdown. I'm pretty sure I'm being punished by the universe for being a smug campaigner to my mates about how shit their teams were for so long. That would just about confirm it. ;)

Great post there gringo.

Your spot on....we have no control on the results and just have to go along for the ride if we choose to.

And yes....the result was pretty well expected....but they did get my hopes up at 1/4 time(go you ripper JB) for them to be completely dashed in the last 5 mins of the 2nd 1/4.

I'm not ECO but it's been bloody frustrating and disappointing to put it mildly.

The circle turns and it can turn quickly at times.........just look at the Tigers....can they do anything wrong!!!!!......they are doing what we did not so long ago.

Get your head back in the game Gringo. Surely Demons aren't winning the flag this year. Maybe next year but not this year. Although I think I would prefer them winning it than back to back Tigers

Don't worry about that Melbourne won't even make the eight.

There must be some god out there that I haven't upset.
Their remaining two games;

Away v West Coast
Home v GWS

Geelong is their biggest threat, and their two remaining games?

Home v Fremantle
Home v Gold Coast

It's very possible the Dees will miss once again.

Port isn't over the line yet either. They need to win one over Collingwood (away) or Essendon (home), but they also need Melbourne to lose against both West Coast (away) and GWS (home).
